  1. Doesn't seem to be actually in stock though. Regards
  2. Not sure about this, the website is a little ambiguous, see http://www.modelrailways.tv/products.html Regards
  3. I've never been an Ivatt Atlantic fan, they always look a bit 'scrunched up' to me, but that is a very fine model indeed. Now if Bachmann decided to do a Robinson Atlantic that would be a different kettle of fish altogether! Regards
  4. I just got a 404 error when I tried the Craftsman website 'You don't have permission to access / on this server'. Seems to be off-line. Regards
  5. Might be stating the ******** obvious, but these vehicles ran in quite large trains, not as singletons. As there is quite a lot of detail in them they aren't going to cost less than £30 each. The eleven wagon train above will therefore cost £330! If you want empties and loaded, £660! Now I'm a CLC freak, started my spotting at Northenden c1950, but these are not for the faint hearted branch line enthusiast, not at all. Regards
  6. I have always thought that the relief lines through Sonning were standard gauge only. Might be wrong though. Regards
  7. Would you mind doing a kit for the Dapol/Model Rail and the Hornby Sentinels? Or are they too small? Regards
  8. I had a look at the Craftsman range earlier today. The website and the PDF file quote different telephone numbers! Regards
  9. I can sympathise with your condition in every respect but your complaint about Bachmann. Times will get better and then you will be able to afford the models. In the meantime make representations to your employer about your wages! Regards
  10. The Comet kit is £47.50; also you have to do assembly and painting etc. A snip at £59.95! Regards
  11. Are the centre wheels sprung? Regards
  12. I didn't notice it at 2 when I arrived or I would have bought it at that price. Nanking Blue sets are selling at around £395 on eBay, but I can't bring myself to part with so many £££! Regards
  13. Why hasn't this been mentioned in the 'Exhibitions' section? http://ngsw.org.uk/exhibition/ngsw2015/ Regards
  14. I have always thought that 'A' = air brake, 'V' = Vacuum, 'D' = dual. Not exactly sure of the codes for through piping though. Last year, doing a bit of spotting at Werrington, a train of 'PNA' timber wagons passed by my camera; also 'TTA' tankers, plus freightliners whose codes I didn't notice. Now I'm confused. Edit: this website gives the data in the tables on the right http://www.ltsv.com/w_ref_codes_tops.php Regards
  15. Looking at the photos I now think that the 'compressor' is actually a brake cylinder. I thought that a dual braked vehicle would have a TOPS Code ending in 'D', ie dual. I think this vehicle is only through piped for air hence the 'X'. Might be wrong though.
  16. I saw your kits at MK and was impressed, most impressed. If you want a wish list, 4mm industrial buildings 19th & 20th C please! Particularly those based on northern prototypes. Regards
  17. I visited the BRC this afternoon and one of these vans is preserved in pretty good condition on site. I took a look at the underframe braking arrangements and found what appeared to be an air compressor. Did these vans have an EPB braking system? Regards
  18. As a consequence of this thread, I've just bought one of these off eBay. I'm impressed with the model although I think I'll keep it in its factory markings. Regards
  19. I notice that you have painted the inside of the cab. Any hints and tips? Regards
  20. That link is unavailable, but this one works http://www.emgauge70s.co.uk/. I've just ordered one of these off eBay. Regards
  21. I've just bought a can of Ford Pine Green which is a very dark olive green. Might be too dark for SR Olive Green though. Regards
