  1. Tomorrow is Black Five Day. Have I got that correct?

Sounds like a great idea. I'm gonna go get mine out the stock cupboard ready.

That'll ding dang do for me!

  2. 30541 from the Bluebell Railway will visit the GCRs gala which is in 27-29 January. Info from the GCR RailMail e-newsletter.
  3. Not quite. Ripper Street from series three onwards was a co-production between Amazon, BBC America and the BBC, with Amazon providing the majority of the funding.
  4. Images of the second batch on Hattons https://www.hattons.co.uk/mbb
  5. It's probably going to be the green 9F no. 92214 that we saw a pre-production model of last year.
  6. Last night I dreamt that a OO gauge model of a S160 was announced. I'm taking it as a sign I shouldn't eat cheese before bed.

There is a HO one in currently in production, expected to be released on the shelves in a few weeks.

  7. No as Hattons states "Please note that specific details of this model including product code, price, running number, and specific tooling details are yet to be confirmed. As soon as this information is made available, you will be informed and given the option to amend your order." (My emphasis). You'll get an idea of how much it'll cost when Hornby put a price on their website.
  8. I wonder what else they measured at K&ESR? A Terrier? (If they did I hope the rumour that I heard of someone else making one was just a rumour).
  9. According to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's Stockbook webpage for Met 1, it is planned to visit the Epping Ongar Railway from this month to January. So it could be in use for the Halloween Specials, Santa Specials, Mince Pie Specials and the New Year Gala. The EOR What's Running webpage currently lists two steam locos as TBA. The first one, GWR pannier tank 6430 from Llangollen Railway, arrived yesterday.
  10. Enjoyed the NYMR gala. Getting home today was a bit weird. Chris Ramsey was filming a commedy show about speed dating on a train. They wanted some volunteers to take part. As it sounded like my idea of hell, I declined to take part.
