  1. This weekend, Met 1 will have its last weekend in operation at the Midland Railway, Butterley. Details here. After which it'll be going to the Dean Forest Railway's Steam Gala.
  2. Kernow process the refund at their end within 24 hours. You are then subject to your card company processing it and adding back to your account. Check with your card company as to how long it should take.

  10. Dean Forest has announced on its facebook event page that Met 1 will be visiting the Dean Forest/Flour Mill Workshop gala on 1-3 & 8-10 July.
  11. Just had an email from Hattons. The RRP has increased to £108.06. As a result the Hattons price is now £91.85.
  12. According to the latest Heritage Railway Magazine, Met 1 will arrive at the Mid Norfolk Railway in early July. L150 is now unable to go to the Isle Of Wight Gala at the end of May.

Class 47 no. 47401 will haul the Mark 1 set on 1 & 2 May. Met 1, Whitehead and the vintage train will also feature in another photographic charter on 7 May.   17. It has been reported that there may be steam trains on the Metropolitan Line using the 4TC set in September. In off topic-ish news L150 will be visiting Isle Of Wight Railway's Steam Gala on 28-30 May.
  18. Bit in bold. As stated previously in the thread there were licensing problems after the release of the models in the UK. Hence why we never saw them again and saw the 0-6-0ST and Diesel Shunter in the Bachmann Junior range.
  19. Met 1 will be the subject of a photo charter at the MRB with the vintage coaches on 18 June. The Steam & Diesel Gala is on 23 April. Steam Gala also featuring GWR no. 4247 is 4-5 June. 20227 will keep its LU livery when it visits the North Norfolk Railway (due to arrive week commencing 18 April). Info from Weybourne Traction Group facebook page. The LU 4TC set will be visiting the diesel galas at the Bluebell Railway on 15-17 April and Severn Valley Railway on 19-21 May. Another class 20 could be in a LT livery according to the Class 20 Locomotive Society.
  20. Just received an email from Oxford confirming the arrival of LSWR 488 is next week.
  21. From the Hornby website, first batch and train pack are currently due on 27th July and the second batch is due 12th October.

  23. To the best of my knowledge that's where they are at the moment. I believe that one of the Kent & East Sussex Railway Terriers (Bodiam?) has been/will be withdrawn this year
  24. I went to the MRB today. Unfortunately 20227 failed and was replaced by 20189. 20189 is likely to be running tomorrow. I spoke to a member of staff and they said that Met 1 will be staying until June.
