Super detailed peak at my new halt. I think the sandpaper used to represent the platform surface works well. Some weathering to do yet, obviously. CGI clouds, of course. A bit too regular, I accept.
I got invited up to the East box several times and recovered the enamelled arm of the down distant which had been thrown in the bushes around 1971 after it had been replaced with colour light.
Can't help you on building the layout though.
The Cotswold line has two dynamic loops. Ascot Under Wychwood to Charlbury and Moreton in Marsh to a point West of Evesham. Works well.
Edit: Had changed to has.
Yes it is an MGB based kit. The tooling has passed through several owners. I went to see the factory when it was in Rotherham in about 1995 with a view to buying one.
I've been looking through the Western Region WTT No. 13 for Sept 1949 to find some appropriate trains to reroute through Borsetshire. My eye caught the class F 2.50 am Oxley Sidings to Bristol (W.D.) on page 182. Does W.D. in this context mean War Department? If so, What sort of load would be carried? Tanks and armoured cars or just vans and opens? Would any special precautions be taken?
An iPhone voice memo can last at least 2hrs. There was some discussion of buggieness when I googled it, but those contributions were 5 years old so probably fixed now.
