  1. Several minutes prior to yours being dispatched I also received an email to say 207 was on her way. Sametime as me getting a message saying my weathered LMS Fairburn, two K-Type Pullmans and latest Oxford Rail wagons were on their way too...!! That's another pre-ordered ticked off and looking forward to seeing as well...!!
  2. I'd only want one of these so I could eventually replicate what the Severn Valley did with 3 Sir Hadyn over their 2013 Autumn Gala. I wouldn't be using a flat wagon though but a Loriot instead. Garethp8873.
  3. Thank you for clarifying this out Graham. Was very exciting to see the 3D Stereolithography prints this weekend. I will be watching this very closely
  4. I'm hoping that Hornby will do one Maunsell and Bullied in SR livery and vice versa in BR. At the moment though I will see how things go.
  5. Post has been updated with todays information. Whilst I'm very happy we'll now be seeing both the Maunsell and Bullied versions coming out, I'm rather concerned that only the Bullied versions are coming out in SR livery at the moment in time. I know this sounds picky as they were only announced yesterday but I just hope it gets changed soon...
  6. Updated the post with the extra information today. Looks like I will selling off my Three Aitch kits now...!!
  7. Mid Hants recently did a rebuild of Maunsell design using a LMS Vanfit Van. Not 100% accurate though when you compare it to the original prototype. The other is a BR version based on the Bullied design and is at Mangapps.
  8. All the versions are the Maunsell version. The Bullied version was different as it was a steel framed van and the ends were different. If you have SR Wagons Vol.4, the Bullied version is on P.84.
  9. The other wagon besides the Maunsell SR Cattle wagon, the LMS 20T Coke Hopper and it's BR successor have been announced. Four versions have been announced: R6731 LMS 20 Ton Coke Hopper Wagon R6731A LMS 20 Ton Coke Hopper Wagon R6733 BR 20 Ton Coke Hopper Wagon R6733A BR 20 Ton Coke Hopper Wagon
  10. This is one of the wagons I've been longing to get onto my layout for ages. A cattle rake doesn't look right without all four companies vans in it personally. I will be watching this wagon very closely...
  11. My favourite OO announcement of 2015...!! A very exciting entry to the current pre-1948 market of Grouping wagons and one I look forward to seeing slowly develop over the next several months. Also very happy to see Hornby focusing on the Maunsell version. Finally I can add some SR Cattle wagons to my GWR, LMS and LNER rake...!! Four versions have been announced: R6737 BR (ex-SR) Cattle Wagon - Maunsell R6737A BR (ex-SR) Cattle Wagon - Maunsell R6735 SR Cattle Wagon - Bulleid R6735A SR Cattle Wagon - Bulleid
  12. Sorry my bad, I completely misread the earlier message. Thank you Ben
  13. Sorry my apologies but I meant the numbers of the four models that have been released
  14. Can anyone give me the running numbers on all four please? Bar the PLV, I am looking at getting the one of the two PMV and the CCT done in Southern livery at somepoint... Many thanks. Looks like all the photos I took of SR 1174 will be useful now...!!
  15. While I did personally hope that this model would be the SHT/P&M Pecketts used by the GWR, I'm not losing hope. I'm sure that once the model comes out, someone who knows their stuff will do a 3D mould or resin kit that will fit the Hornby chassis
  16. I can see preservation layouts finding a use in the Pecketts too...
  17. I've high hopes for a GWR green version myself. Nice to see Hornby going in this direction as well...
  18. Final Diesel Gala visitor from the East Lancs Railway, BR Class 14 D 9531 'Ernest' has now arrived on the SVR. Fellow East Lancs resident BR 'Hymek' Class 35 D 7076 arrived yesterday. 28th and 29th September 2015 - Kidderminster
  19. Well another SVR Autumn Gala over. Great friends, great locos and a good time all round. Very happy with the photographic results from this year's Gala too. 46100 and Britannia certainly put on a great show and the resident steam engines were grand as always...!! Beautiful photos. As a young 8/9 yrs old in 1961/62 Royal Scot was and still is my all time favourite Loco.

Thank you cb900f. 6100 certainly attracted the visitors and was no doubt the star of the show!!

  21. Evening guys, Headed down to Kidderminster and Bewdley today. Was lucky enough to see the recently restored GWR Collett Brake Third Open Excursion Carriage 650 out today in the sunshine. Hopefully not be long before it goes into the dining rake... Also had the pleasure of seeing 46100 getting turned on the turntable today as well. Once I had met my friend, we went over to Bewdley and SVR visitor BR 46521 was on the Bewdley MPD. The goods looks good and especially with recently restored vans 65620 and 58725 along with Cadbury Van 346. Here's to a good Gala...!!
  22. Finally got several shots today of SVR Autumn Gala visitor LMS 46100 Royal Scot whilst on test runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster today. An absolute beauty in her livery and looking like a real star. Cannot wait to get more shots of her during the Gala next week... Also apologies for the continuous posting. This will now calm down now I've gotten shots of 46100 I can assure you all...!!
  23. On the subject of new kits, has anyone seen the new GWR Y4 Banana van kit yet? Just ordered five of them from PD... **UPDATE** I've had an email from PD
