  1. Hattons have listed the Banana Vans on their website.
  2. Who wants some more GWR War Black...? GWR 5600 and Dean Goods 2538 for your pleasure. My mate does some brilliant work for me
  3. Just seen this on Rapido Train's UK page... anyone else seen this?
  4. As much as Wantage Tramway No.6 is appealing @BMacdermott, it'd have to be Wantage Tramway's most famous resident WT No.5 Shannon I'd have to go with first.
  5. Sad to say but it looks like another load of repaints for me. The lettering font Oxford Rail have used is disappointing...
  6. Bar the two front buffers coming out of my Talavera, I am certainly impressed by this arrival. Magnificant in her LMS livery. Now you've the tender please bring out a LNWR Cauliflower guys!! Out of interest, can this model be used to represent the last member of the class, LNWR 25001 'Snowdon'?
  7. More than likely as per photos that Paul Bartlett took of 41990 when she was at Bescot. https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/gwrloriotlowmac/hCD70E6B
  8. You got anymore photos of your Beachy Head in War Black please @Jack Pplease?
  9. LMS 17566 has arrived!! Sadly had to go to work so only photo sorry.
  10. My supplier at @AGR Model Store has got two of each R3840 and R3841. I look forward to getting my R3840 soon as well.
  11. Finally got back over to Bewdley on the 14th this month. Was able to get some shots of ICI Hopper 3252 prior to my last photos in November 2020 following it's repaint but before the iconic ICI letters were returned to their place. Besides 3252 I was able to get the usual rolling stock alongside GWR 1501. 14th October 2021 - Bewdley

  13. I spoke to him a few weeks ago today and I'm happy to wait tbh. He did offer me a refund but I said I was happy to wait as he is in turn waiting for the nameplates to come through plus I have other projects that are shouting out at me. I asked him when was best to try again and he said December. Not a problem to me to all.
  14. I have the option of purchasing a Bachmann 31-691 BR Stanier Mogul with early emblem and 31-692 BR Stanier Mogul with late crest. Whilst I was going to just purchase one BR model with the intention of getting it re-liveried into a LMS livery not yet done by Bachmann, I noticed all three models including the LMS example released from Bachmann come with different Fowler tenders. I'm now thinking of getting both BR models and getting both repainted into LMS liveries. Has anyone else here done the same as myself? So far I am looking at LMS 2966 on the HMRS website as one option. Can anyone confirm if either 31-691/692 would be suitable candidates and is 2966's livery plain black please? https://hmrs.org.uk/photographs/2-6-0-lms-s5f-2966-at-lichfield-tv-ll-rhs-steps-hl-bridge-right.html
  15. I am still awaiting a set of OO GWR 6827 'Llanfrechfa Grange' plates that I did order with Modelmaster last year on the 06/10/2020 along with three others that have arrived. However due to the situation we have been in I have been patient but I will do a check up call tomorrow...
  16. Yes the unique LNER Restaurant Car 7960.
  17. 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8. For the future if you wish to do a poll like this for the GWR Modellers page I admin on Facebook, I'm sure the other admins wouldn't mind. A new GWR Dean Clerestory is especially on the top of my list and especially after having seen GWR 1941 several times during my trips to Didcot over the years...
  18. Thank you. Money saved!!
  19. I'm most interested in a Malachite version but I've only seen images of IOW examples in the livery. Anyone ever seen a photo of Mainland one in the livery please?
  20. GWR 1450 has begun the first steps to her next overhaul. Was able to catch a snap of 1450 at Kidderminster on Wednesday night loaded up before she left on Thursday for the Flour Mill.
  21. Got a challenge for you all... has anyone ever heard of a GWR 1366 Pannier of having gone into Warblack livery at all?
  22. A pre-grouping Iron Mink due to it having it having handles on the ends, possibly of the Barry Railway but cannot saying for certain without looking in the books.
  23. I did infact open a thread on GWR Iron Mink Vans and the BR era back in November of last year and after much searching @watfordtmc found me a perfect image of GWR W69121 photographed in 1951 still bearing it's post 1936 livery bar the fact GW had been removed and W had put infront of the number. The image is dated 1951 and is in British Railways Illustrated June 2019.
