  1. Whilst I am interested in Harburn's Briggs Dundee 23, was there actually a 23 built or not? I cannot find any information about it bar the preserved No.20 example at Bo'ness.
  2. Thanks for the replies wessy and Jason. Looking at the photo if you have a copy of the book, would you say it is has got the 14" LMS and 12" numbers or both 14"?
  3. I'm looking at getting LMS Coal Tank 7796 represented in OO as per the photo on P.144 of Bashers, Gadgets and Mourners by Peter Skellon during her heavy service repair of February 1936. However I'm unsure as to what colour lettering she has on the tanks. Is it the gold lettering or cream? Any help please?
  4. Hopefully not be long now til we see some LSWR lettered examples
  5. These are definately 'Wow' wagons. Livery, lettering, under detail is just excellent!!
  6. One is very happy right now... Will do photos later
  7. I'll get some photos up when I can lads. Be the Mainland pre-1936 and post-1936 examples.
  8. Just an email to say my LSWR Road Brake Vans have been shipped to me!! Cannot wait to get these!!
  9. Didn't notice til I read the article earlier, that Rapido was doing the Severn Valley Railway's example of SECR 12522. That being the case, I cannot refuse 12522... even if I am a Big Four modeller...!! Always been one of my favourite SVR wagons
  10. My supplier @AGR Model Store has two of 21C7 left in stock.
  11. Whilst I am interested in the 'The Earl', 1456 and Henry models, would these liveries have just been suitable for the Big Four era at all? I suspect the answer would be yes but some clearance would be helpful.
  12. Van samples are on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/oxfordrail/posts/2863349290544036
  13. Banana van samples are on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/oxfordrail/posts/2863349290544036
  14. Payment for early SR versions took this morning and dispatched
  15. Great news @Oliver Rails. Do you have sample images of the other models besides the two SECR examples yet?
  16. Yes, post-1936 GWR livery. Livery would of lasted into early BR at least until the wagon needed work or an overhaul.
  17. Hey guys, I am asking this query on behalf of a friend is mine. Recently my friend has been looking at purchasing one of the OO shapeways 3D printed kits of the GWR Loriot Y wagons, with the intention of the wagon being in BR livery. However with the exception of GWR photos (preservation and pre-preservation) and photos of last surviving example 41990 in it's last days at Bescot, he cannot find anything of either Loriot Y during their BR days. Does anyone here have any ideas or knowledge as to what liveries either 41989/990 would've beared during the BR era?
  18. Would you happen to have a copy of this issue please? If so could you send me a scan or a good photo of the picture please? You have made my day so much better!!
  19. If anyone is interested Five79 have got kit the LMS 6 Wheel Van kit back in stock again Duly ordered three kits today.
  20. Does anyone know why Rails of Sheffield has their DCC ready example of 31-911 'Portland Bill' at full retail price yet other suppliers including my own have theirs at around £186 to £199? Was quite surprised when I saw the price on Rails website tbh... https://railsofsheffield.com/products/41847/Bachmann-31-911-oo-gauge-lb-scr-h1-atlantic-2038-portland-bill-sr-malachite-green
  21. @coachmann... following on from my posting last year as to the Push-Pull Coal Tanks, I have now decided to go ahead with the project. As you said Alan Gibson's 4M757** Push/pull gear is required but I will also need to order the pipes seperately. Where can I go to order the pipes please?
  22. Updates since I last created this posting... I've found a photo in my collection of a GWR Iron Mink in BR era livery. I remember I picked it up at Warley a few years ago either from the HMRS stand or one of the other trade stands but since completely forgot about it. The photo reference is AEX915 and the Iron Mink is in derelict condition with it's GWR livery emerging from beneath. It does have a running number but I cannot fully read it (W20XXXX). I am waiting on a reply with the number from HMRS but that may take a while due to the current situation. If anyone has this photo and knows the running number please let me know. Upon seeing the running number it reminded me of the SVR residing Improvised Gunpowder Iron Mink Van, GWR 58725. When the van was acquired for preservation by the GWR 813 Fund at Cashmores in 1977, she was bearing the running number of W204988 rather than 58725. I have seen several Iron Minks bearing running numbers of W2xxxxx. Can anyone explain why this would've occured as GWR 58725 was condemned in 1949 but is seen at Wellington in 1976 as a stores van, a year before preservation acquired it. Would this mean that 58725 along several other GWR Iron Minks found a reprieve not long after they were condemned one by one? There is also a photo in the GWR Pictorial No.3 on P.54 of a GWR Iron Mink in BR livery. Does anyone know where I could get an enlarged copy of this photo?
  23. LNER Banana Van announced as part of the 2021 range! https://www.facebook.com/2176618712550434/posts/2814301105448855/
  24. First wagon I would say is a Stephenson Clarke Mineral Wagon either of timber or steel frame. The vans are of GWR origin, most likely 1920 build onwards, then possibly a LNER wagon as it looks as if it's back is bending slightly. LMS Goods Van, LNWR Dia.88 Goods van and a GWR Toad to finish.
  25. Wanted A Bachmann ROD front pony truck as the pony truck for my GWR ROD has been damaged. Please PM if you can help. Many thanks, Garethp8873.
