  1. I'm most interested in a Malachite version but I've only seen images of IOW examples in the livery. Anyone ever seen a photo of Mainland one in the livery please?
  2. GWR 1450 has begun the first steps to her next overhaul. Was able to catch a snap of 1450 at Kidderminster on Wednesday night loaded up before she left on Thursday for the Flour Mill.
  3. Got a challenge for you all... has anyone ever heard of a GWR 1366 Pannier of having gone into Warblack livery at all?
  4. A pre-grouping Iron Mink due to it having it having handles on the ends, possibly of the Barry Railway but cannot saying for certain without looking in the books.
  5. I did infact open a thread on GWR Iron Mink Vans and the BR era back in November of last year and after much searching @watfordtmc found me a perfect image of GWR W69121 photographed in 1951 still bearing it's post 1936 livery bar the fact GW had been removed and W had put infront of the number. The image is dated 1951 and is in British Railways Illustrated June 2019.
  6. Whilst I am interested in Harburn's Briggs Dundee 23, was there actually a 23 built or not? I cannot find any information about it bar the preserved No.20 example at Bo'ness.
  7. Thanks for the replies wessy and Jason. Looking at the photo if you have a copy of the book, would you say it is has got the 14" LMS and 12" numbers or both 14"?
  8. I'm looking at getting LMS Coal Tank 7796 represented in OO as per the photo on P.144 of Bashers, Gadgets and Mourners by Peter Skellon during her heavy service repair of February 1936. However I'm unsure as to what colour lettering she has on the tanks. Is it the gold lettering or cream? Any help please?
  9. Hopefully not be long now til we see some LSWR lettered examples
  10. These are definately 'Wow' wagons. Livery, lettering, under detail is just excellent!!
  11. One is very happy right now... Will do photos later

  14. Didn't notice til I read the article earlier, that Rapido was doing the Severn Valley Railway's example of SECR 12522. That being the case, I cannot refuse 12522... even if I am a Big Four modeller...!! Always been one of my favourite SVR wagons
  15. My supplier @AGR Model Store has two of 21C7 left in stock.
  16. Whilst I am interested in the 'The Earl', 1456 and Henry models, would these liveries have just been suitable for the Big Four era at all? I suspect the answer would be yes but some clearance would be helpful.

  20. Great news @Oliver Rails. Do you have sample images of the other models besides the two SECR examples yet?
  21. Yes, post-1936 GWR livery. Livery would of lasted into early BR at least until the wagon needed work or an overhaul.
  22. Hey guys, I am asking this query on behalf of a friend is mine. Recently my friend has been looking at purchasing one of the OO shapeways 3D printed kits of the GWR Loriot Y wagons, with the intention of the wagon being in BR livery. However with the exception of GWR photos (preservation and pre-preservation) and photos of last surviving example 41990 in it's last days at Bescot, he cannot find anything of either Loriot Y during their BR days. Does anyone here have any ideas or knowledge as to what liveries either 41989/990 would've beared during the BR era?
  23. Would you happen to have a copy of this issue please? If so could you send me a scan or a good photo of the picture please? You have made my day so much better!!
  24. If anyone is interested Five79 have got kit the LMS 6 Wheel Van kit back in stock again Duly ordered three kits today.
