The warning yellow changed about the time the photo was taken, the Brush 2 would have the later yellow whilst the Brush4 had the older yellow. Plus both would have differing undercoats as Crewe used a dark under coat and Donny used a buff undercoat. Al Taylor -

Hi, The Hull Portion of the Yorkshire Pullman initially had the K type brakes till around winter 64/5. The formation after this was on leaving Hull, BG, Second Parlour, First Kitchen, First Parlour And Second Kitchen. The kitchens where at the south end and on Saturdays the First Parlour would stand spare in Hull. The white roofs didn't last very long. Hope that helps Al Taylor

York and up the ECML and Niddrie. -
The six bolt plates were a modification done at depots as well as main works. The reason for the six bolts was that new plate was much thinner and to give a better seal it required the two extra bolts that a works plate didn't have. I wish I had kept a few of the works plates when doing the modification when I was an apprentice at York. This was around 77/78. Al Taylor

The Black Arrow rocket logo is totally different to that on the coach. However there was a construction company called Black Arrow that a similar logo to that on the coach and been a departmental vehicle it would seem that this vehicle could be in use with them. Al Taylor -

Class 105 power twin to 2x power trailer?
45125 replied to EasternO's topic in Modifying & Detailing RTR stock
When built the exhaust on a DMCL come on to the roof in line with the interior wall of the toilet. A trailer with exhaust pipe will look odd, they just need cutting off an smoothing down. -
Class 105 power twin to 2x power trailer?
45125 replied to EasternO's topic in Modifying & Detailing RTR stock
Bachmann do the trailer car "chassis" as a spare. Just remove the exhausts from the roof or end on your non powered car. Just take care on renumbering as the only ER vehicles that the Bachmann models is good for is the 512xx/564xx batch. -

At some collieries had series of machines for moving wagons under the loader. These consisted of lorry wheels electrically driven which moved the wagons through the loader. You would see the same marks on MGRs too.
