  1. Can you hear it on the recording video? Well if it’s the EM bass speaker making the ECoS vibrate I’m going to be very worried
  2. One question, when the horn sounds there seems to be a buzzing on the sound, it could be something reverberating on the Loco, I hope rather than the sound file distorting.
  3. And what looks like a complete shop full of soft toys on the rear parcel shelf
  4. It may have been a Sony U-Matic they were the favourite of the time in industry and science, I think we had some OU tapes at work.
  5. I’m just going to repaint mine and stick Sid on it………
  6. Err no……if the posties can wear shorts in the worst of weather around here then so can I…..besides both our posties are Ladies, so cannot be bested by them.
  7. I am on permanent holiday, why would I not?
  8. Annoyingly now the chip is fitted it is probably (apart from my Oxford/Bachmann Dean Goods which is surprisingly a brilliant runner) the best running kettle I have, I thought it would be a bit of a waste of time spending on a sound decoder for my Grandson to partner the Thomas model, as the Edward is tender driven but it’s not a Ringfield it is a can motor with gears both ends to outer axles and it performs flawlessly, so much so I wish Hornby had produced my 9F and Earl of StGermans with this tender drive mechanism! I have always thought a kettle should be boiler/body driven but after this……Hmm.
  9. I cannot help thinking your just making excuses now
  10. What do you mean, I still wear short trousers……
  11. That was my first thought as well. And the layout isn’t the most level I’ve seen, some parts you can actually see the carriages “bucking” as they cross a section.
  12. Yes, but they were very, very expensive and I believe not on general release until the mid 70’s and I cannot remember any pre recorded material being available for these for a good few years. Thats not to say it wasn’t possible of course.
  13. I am very surprised it would be the weight of a capacitor causing issues.
  14. Well had it been an early Philips 2000 it would never have worked, they jammed after a few minutes play regardless, until they got the tape formulation (read robustness) correct the backing layer was a weak as two day old kitten.
  15. Don’t you let SK hear you say that…..
  16. I didn’t want to say that……somebody might be reading this……..shhhhh
  17. Why do we need model signal engineering using a Smart Meter?
  18. Well, that’s either really badly parked or……run away roller
  19. The last car on the first video looked like it was “out of line” with the rest?
  20. Now that’s quite a different thing altogether.
