  1. Be thankful they haven't fitted the ploughs!
  2. That Phil seems like reason enough to me! Once I've sorted out a few real world work issues I intend to get back in the loft with an idea similar to yours. I to was inspired by everardjunction and of course camelot junction before that. I'll be using 9mm or 12mm ply with 3rd and 4th radius set track curves. McGomez (Portland Grove) of this parish also has some constructional pics of his helix on rmweb, well worth a look. Guy
  3. The buildings are of EPIC proportions! Fantastic work Chris, The 08 looks absolutely dwarfed. Guy
  4. Very nice. Can you detail what products you have in the first of that series of pics? I.E. product/manufacturer/colour/number. Much appreciated Guy
  5. Ahh kingsmill. One of the layouts that got me back into model railways. Infact it might of been you that gave me the idea of cutting out all the layouts from magazines that caught my eye for a layout file? Guy
  6. Good effect with the lights Jon and Nice work with scalescenes prints Guy
  7. JUst discovered this. Excellent scratch building, really impressed with the loader. Also loving the 37's, especially the detailed Coal Sector one. Considering all that has been modelled I'm going to ask a silly question..... What make is the dummy tail light on The HAA? Cheers Guy
  8. Mr Mason. I do believe you really are getting the grip of this weathering lark. Well done on 693, understated grime. I love it Guy
  9. Very impressed with the colours and textures used in the ground cover for the S&T yard Leon. And the way that the grass seems to be growing 'through' the items left lying around. Nice one. Guy
  10. Authentic burntout coach anyone? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/L-K-GOOD-SIDING-BURNT-OUT-COACH-/270812673356?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3f0db1754c
  11. Thornaby 506 looks very nice Leon. Subtle weathering is the way way forward me thinks. Guy
  12. Hi Leon I think Vitrains must be worried about buffers interlocking/coming into contact with stock on smaller radius curves. Guy
  13. And here's what you can expect it to finish at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-BR-RTC-Departmental-Test-Car-6-Mk-2-coach-/320813672504?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4ab1fc2838 Crazy money, but he does always start off at a very low price and his work always seems to be of a high standard. I think it might be cheaper to commison him to do one!!!
  14. Coming on nice Neil. Love the Hi-Viz on the shark and just the way everything seems to fitting together like it belongs Guy
  15. It's fully NMRA complient.....Honest
  16. Wow. Just read the thread from the start. A mammoth task being executed by what looks like highly skilled individuals pulling together as a team. If only modern commerce worked as efficiently and as eager as you lot. Well done lads. Guy
  17. Hi Phil Not commented much lately, but I've been watching your excellent progress. Well done mate. Would you recommend the containers as a starting project for adventures in scalescene building, before heading off to larger stuff? Are you sealing the inkjet printouts with varnish or laquer? Cheers Guy
  18. Good to have you back Stuart. Really enjoyed following this thread. Guy
  19. Cracking progress Phil, Really like the green stuff!! Guy
  20. Obviously dubbed on sound (suspect gear changes mid corner, to high a gear for road speed). But wow what a sound!!! Totally irresponsible but a very good piece of footage. Thanks
  21. Ahh Mr Fothergill, so good of you to bring your excellent layout to a wider audience, after teasing with pics in earlier posts. Its probably jumped straight into the top 10 of layouts on here and there is argubly the best british built layouts on the web here. I hope the pics and updates are going to be more regular. Excellent buildings Andy. Guy
