  2. Hi Terry Are your pictures bigger than 2MB? that might be the problem. try reducing them in size with a free picture resizer such as Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/ A lot of people on here use it. Maybe you should put a link to your youtube stuff so folks can find it easier? I've been subbed to you for ages. Its a channel well worth viewing. Guy
  3. Is that so telecom can put the wires back up after Leon has cleaned the track? Guy
  4. Hi Leon. Ive messing about with locos and sound chips. Then I decided to start on another layout!! http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/66572-millfield-a-helix-build-in-progress/ Fear not, for every loco you strip of the mighty Kingfisher I shall replace thrice fold! (I must stop drinking Jack Daniels on a work night!!)
  5. Looks like its going to be a cracker Leon! How did you remove the Kingfisher? Guy
  6. I hope your saw goes blunt and your nuts round off !! ;-) Seriously though Phil, get cracking and it might give me the kick I need. Following others progress is always inspirational. Hmmm ..... You should be on stage........... Sweeping it! Guy
  7. Love the latest pics. The third one has a real weighty feel to it. Like its a huge chunk of metal rather than a model. Guy
  8. Nice to see a few pics from my area. Shame its not what it once was only a decade or two ago, Or that I should of taken more interest when it was on my doorstep! I go over the A19 flyover when I'm taking the bairn down to her grandparents. Looks like a huge scrapyard of wagons, like one day it was all action then it just froze in time and rust took over!! Guy
  9. Very impressive. Great stock and even better buildings. Nice one.
  10. Hi Kev Good to meet you and see the Loch in all its Scottish BR Blue splendour. Here's a vid I did. Guy
  11. Fantastic scenics Richard. It's like you've taken all your developed skills from Orchard Road and applied them in one magnificent, concentrated effort. I am very envious of your scenic skills. Guy
  12. I'm struggling to make convincing lamp enclosures for OO......... I have no excuses now!! what a fantastic effort, well done Guy

  17. Hi Mick I enjoyed seeing Blackmill and its fantastic stock on Saturday Here's a little vid with Caroline on her first outing and the RHTT Guy
  18. As usual Rail-Ex NE was a great, well organised show and always attracts good D@E layouts This year I had to see Blackmill and Diesels in the Duchy. It was a bit touch and go as I was on call all weekend and indeed I spent all Saturday night in Durham and all day Sunday in Belfast! so I felt quite lucky to have gone Saturday morning. What can I say about Diesels in the Duchy that has not been said?? It really does look fantastic in the flesh, far better than any magazine spread or video can do. The buildings and greenery are sublime and all light from the cracking lighting rig (what bulbs are those?) illuminated it beautifully. I was stood next to Mr Gallon and we both commented on the flowing curves the layout had. To all those involved, well done on a fantastic layout and thanks for bringing it to the North East. Below is a little video I did. Guy
  19. Hi Craig Some nice atmospheric shots there, nice one. Can I ask, what is the base colour used for your Peco buffer stops? Cheers Guy
  20. Good pic that last one Andy. It would make an exellent diorama on its own. Guy
  21. Hi Phil. Ive used Jadlamracing for track before and there quite reasonable. £2.84 (free post) for a double curve (R8262) so only 8 needed per revolution. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Track-R8262-1x-Radius-4-Double-Curve-/330753965085?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4d0278fc1d Guy
  22. Good start Phil. Watching with interest, thanks for posting progress, much appreciated. Guy
  23. Now thats my kind of shopping list! cant wait to see progress. I will be using 3rd and 4th radius track on my helix (if I ever get started) what are you going to use? watching with interest Guy
  24. Train movements are fine by me Leon. Always been an inspirational layout for me this, ever since it was bare boards on the last forum. I don't comment much, or do any work on my own layout due to work "stuff". But hopefully I will be starting again soon. So please keep posting pics and I'll keep popping by! Guy
