These are lyrics from a tune I first heard 25 years ago, so they couldn't be taken in any possible way to be referring to present day events...

  9. Save pounds on expensive sound decoders for your class 66/67 diesels. Simply go on google translate, type in a load of 'A's & click on the loudspeaker icon....

  17. Aaagh, finally managed to source 10.5mm wheelsets online. Would have been easier to have gone hang gliding on a washing machine!

  18. People like to run the 'blue' party down, but i'd like to say something in their defence. Thanks to their 'wonderful' policies, this week I can be completely indifferent to Hornby announcements, Black Friday & the Warley spendathon. Cheers Dave!

  19. has spent an enjoyable evening replacing cruddy original wheelsets in a Heljan 26 with some decent ones set to EM. Might even build a layout some day!

Watching Joe 90 as a younger man I always preferred the arrangement played at the end. Still do. Clever to have the two arrangements, each one appropriate to the opening or closing credits. So - which one is in your head; or have I just helped add another?

    3. Dave47549

      Dave47549

Steve, it was the intro' (preferred due to the slight psych' tinge) but the outro works too. I best not put the two (intro/outro) together or I'll be listening to the Bonzo's all night... ;-)
