  4. Diesels on the Bluebell - as the blue light from the Moon is reflected from the frozen lakes of Hell. Geoff Endacott
  5. That headcode looks a bit odd. The figure "1" on headcode blinds did not have a serif. Geoff Endacott
  6. Coal in not particularly dense. Stone would have provided a much sterner challenge. Geoff Endacott

  11. I suspect that Lister was only named on one side because the nameplate came from a piece of equipment at the factory and they only had one of them. Geoff Endacott

  18. Cross Street is now in the back of a van heading for Wiltshire - via London! Geoff Endacott
  19. STOP PRESS. Cross Street has a new owner - me. I am now arranging for it to be transported from Lancashire to Wiltshire with a view to it making its exhibition debut at Trainwest. I don't have any firm plans for the layout after that, so if you want to see Cross Street in action you will have to come to the show. Geoff Endacott
  20. D6328 is not one of their best sellers for a fairly obvious reason. This is the real thing: https://farm7.staticflickr.com/6054/6260767848_ab91a01a1d.jpg . This is the model: http://www.ehattons.com/56924/Dapol_D1000h_Class_22_B_B_Diesel_Hydraulic_D6328_font_A_in_BR_blue_with_full_yellow_ends/StockDetail.aspx . Spot the deliberate mistake. As for a green one with headcode boxes but no yellow panels, the Dapol model depicts the batch D6313-32 and none of those carried this variation. Geoff Endacott
