  1. You mean not knowing the difference between your and you're for instance?
  2. Lead free solder is not allowed in aerospace applications because of the whisker problem.
  3. I have found the HMRS transfers poor quality in that the registration of the colours is poorly controlled. This was on a Midland Railway sheet where the white was no where near. I'm afraid that this points to a couldn't care less attitude and goes hand in hand with the rude reply.
  4. It's to do with cash transfer scams.
  5. I suggest you look here: http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz
  6. It is very sad to hear that Paul Sherwen has died. His death is even more tradgic considering his relatively young age.
  7. But good old aunty B has the steam engine ploughing into the car.
  8. The person who set it up closes the account and you set a new account up with the new person.
  9. It depends on how committed he is to"getting it right"!
  10. This what the law says: “What the law says on Delivery Charges and Delivery Restrictions You must indicate clearly no later than at the beginning of the ordering process if any delivery restrictions such as geographical restrictions apply . You should not offer ‘Free or Standard Delivery’ to the ‘UK’ or to ‘Mainland UK’ if you don’t offer this to every relevant postcode. You must tell your customers if there are any delivery charges and what they are as soon as reasonably possible in the ordering process. You must tell them before the contract is agreed. Information on delivery charges should be easy to find on your website and easy to understand. If information about delivery charges is not provided, or if it’s difficult to understand, then the customer may not have to pay delivery charges.”

  13. Russian trains still operate on Moscow time. However the cuisine in the dinning car has improved a little - but not a lot!
  14. If this were a cable operated handbrake then I would suggest one of the cables has broken.
  15. Standardisation!!This is the public sector you are referring to here. You'll be wanting an integrated transport network next.
  16. I thought the DLVA had stopped accepting credit cards for payment because they could not charge a fee? Of course retailers can still charge a fee for using a credit card providing everyone else pays the fee as well.
  17. Both are correct. it all depends what you meant to say. Sat implies that they had been put there, sitting implies that they have remained stationery there. One is transitory and the other in-transitory.
  18. But the signal allowing passage over the cross-over should be interlocked with the point so that the point could not be moved with the signal ON. Which seems to imply the signal was put back to OFF whilst the train was within the crossing.
  19. His behind!! This thread is going in a very odd direction.
  20. Not when it's worked in normal traffic but it is when reversing back over it. Only allowed when no passengers on board?
  21. Why would you travel from Coventry to Birmingham New Street by car when there's a good train service? The obvious station for parking a car is Birmingham International but smaller stations such as Marston Green and catch a local. Web based timetables always give details you just need to select details.
