  1. LEDs are wired the way you choose to wire them. The signals shown on the referenced page are wired common cathode. The signals are wired common anode. You will have to convert one or the other. Model signals usually are common anode.

  5. Yes they are smaller but the Tortoise have genuine stall motors in them. Unfortunately the Cobalt do not and have to use electronics to mask the fact.

  11. Where on earth has he come-up with track gauges of 32.95mm? Scale 7 is 33mm (that's the standard).

One of the big reasons for not liking this new site is that previously when going through new content you were always sent back to where you got to when reading a post - now you are sent back to the beginning of the new content so you have to trawl through the whole list again - this is not good.
  13. No the weight is there to tension the signal wire. You have the lever in the wrong way round.
