  1. If I was modelling OO still then plenty, certainly would have had a few rep limited editions and some of the stuff from the club like XP64 47 and exhibition VGA for starters
  2. Really looking to getting these, got a total of 12 on order across unbranded and Esso. Fingers crossed I get the request to pay the balance soon
  3. I sent an email to them recently suggesting several models the club have had and the sales rep models could all have been done in N gauge as well - think this 9F is the first in a while that could not have been done in both gauges. Must have missed the cut off for this issue so hopefully they will address it in the next one. If we don't see anything good in N gauge soon I may have to consider spending money on the club, Dapol at least gives us something N gauge
  4. Wonder if they will do a separate N gauge summer sale, oops just realised its Heljan so no
  5. I have used these decoders for my points for a long time as I think they are the most reliable out there. We power ours with a Gaugemaster M1 transformer - although we have more points than you so it is useful to have a separate power supply
  6. Anyone know how many models are in the Oxford Rail range?
  7. Check this link http://uksteam.info/tours/t18/t0519a.htm the day before, they might appear there. The timings will be on RTT on the day and update as the journey progresses.
  8. Got to say I had a great time at the show with my layout, hopefully this won't be the last time I am exhibiting there. If not I will still attend as a punter. Roll on 2019
  9. Nice shot of my Dad operating Much Snoreing in your thumbnail
  10. To be fair, later this year is merely an undefined point leading up till 31st December 2018. It could be available tomorrow for all we know.
  11. The poll only allows a user to vote once, so each member has one vote, so no need to make any corrections, even my simple brain can add up the results
  12. Your local model shop - you don't give a location so we can't tell you where that is. Go into the shop and order over the counter to collect when it comes out, then you can peruse what else they have. However if you want a web shop I would suggest Collett's models as they offer a payment plan for pre-orders so you can spread the cost - only slight downside is you have to pay in full before the model lands but that is countered by having control of payment and not suddenly getting a huge bill land unexpectedly.
  13. I put yes twice on purpose, I was more interested in the overall number of people who wanted it as opposed to a % or RMWeb members who would want them, lets face it anyone modelling OO would click no if they voted.
  14. Whilst perusing the parts of the website that are available I came across this one http://service.Bachmann.co.uk/web-images/ its got all the images from the current catalogues in section and page order, click on the links and a folder opens with each item inside as a separate picture
  15. Nice & easy for me, as I model N gauge . If its Farish I use a Bachmann branded chip, if its Dapol I buy a Gaugemaster DCC23 as its what they use and it fits perfectly
  16. Can't imagine it was easy for them to decide on a production run size. The models landed mid December so guessing they left China approx. early November, production must have been taking place from early October if not before then, the figure to make will have been finalised before this. Given that I only got round to ordering mine in mid October I would have most likely come in after the production started. I would be amazed if anyone could predict how popular a model will be - I seem to recall the sound 108 didn't exactly fly out the shops. Looking in the Farish catalogue for this year the Castle is getting another sound model (in a train set) and the 108 is coming in BR Green, so chances are the 2019 catalogue will feature a BR Green 40 with sound - don't ask me to predict if it will be disc or headcode and which type of yellow end it will have.
  17. Got to admit I agree with that principle having seen the way N gauge models tend to hang around on shelves - not normally the one's I want though. Poll options are definitely flawed, but I was more interested in a total number of purchases than a percentage of who actually would so felt a no option was not valid in this instance, those who don't want won't vote
  18. Based on that I have added a poll to this thread, I know both options are yes but we are not interested in how many won't buy the models simply if there is demand for them in N gauge.
  19. Liking those Ronuk tanks, had a rake in OO so might have to get some in N gauge ready for the 8F
  20. It can't be just me that has noticed all these OO Gauge Sales Rep limited edition class 47's are starting to land at shops and it got me thinking, These and the last few collectors Club Models - 20172 Redmire in Thornaby blue, the XP64 class 47, exhibition MK1 brake and Exhibition VGA wagon, all have the same or at least VERY similar tooling in N Gauge. So why don't Bachmann also do these models in N Gauge at the same time, could serve both there customer bases at once then.
  21. It won't be a straight swap I imagine, the speaker for the 40 is mounted into the roof of the body so chances are the 47 will be the same. Not sure what space will be available for a speaker. Chances are someone will try it and report back when it comes out
  22. Really uncalled for, the 40 has only just landed so itsfar too soon for another run.Ok I fully appreciate some people (me included) want several 40's but we all have a budget and Farish have a wide rang to produce, next year I am sure they will do another batch of 40's. Give them time with the 31's they are still working on the refurbished 31's. Chances are they are working on a 24/1 and 25/0 and later 25 but they are announcing models later in the process, if they did announce them now chances are you would have a moan because they are not out straight away.
  23. It may be "dumb" but it does the job with ECoS and touchcab, I have tried everything I can think of with old routers we used to use for touch cab (we use it on show layouts and any home layout is in the top of the house too far from the phone points and main users to use for the home wifi) but with this router we just connect and go, its never let us done in nearly 5 years of shows, plus its small size means it doesn't take up too much space on the control panel. Am sure someone else will come up with a similar option to this but unless your wifi has a broadband connection I don't think your apple devices will connect.
  24. Is there any news on which (if any) decoder socket will be in this yet? Thought that would have been announced by now.
  25. It's a preserved one again, 5080 Defiant with overhead flashes again, so chances are the 2 coaches are supposed to be the SLOA Pullman set, there was on kitchen car in that set (335) but plenty of parlour 2nd's - of which only 352 has yet to be released. Could they complete the set with this (I hope so as this is the last one I need for the full rake - failing that its the grey roofed one coming out this year)
