  1. Rails of Sheffield are reporting Nunney Castle as in stock, also Tennants Trains in Halesowen have 3 showing so they are starting to land.
  2. Just wanted to let folks know I had a beta copy of the Touch cab sent to me and it worked great on my layout all weekend using an Iphone 6 and IOS 10.3.2, back to the good old days of touchcab for all
  3. Hi Tony I attended the show this year and it was great. I have a currently under construction N Gauge layout which will reside in South Wales and 2 OO Gauge layouts - a shed and a branch line - that can come down from the north east of England if you want any - though we can only bring 1 as they share controllers and operators. The N gauge will be at Pontypool this weekend and Pontypridd in November if you want to see it in the flesh. Let me know if you need want any more details on any layout.
  4. The following was posted on their Facebook page this morning iOS 11: We are aware that the App Store no longer shows the TouchCab App in the App Store when searched. We have also installed iOS 11 Beta and can confirm that TouchCab does not open in this release of iOS. We are working to launch a TestFlight Beta test in the coming days, but would suggest that if you rely on TouchCab, that you do not install iOS 11 when it becomes available as a Public Beta later this month. We will send out a further notification once the TestFlight Beta is ready for registration. Thanks Karl and Mike
  5. Sad news for the Patriot, I hope a new builder can be found in the UK and quickly - I know Severn Valley have experience of boilers for some engines like 82045 but this one is probably a bit bigger. As Chris says above its really bad on LNWR - one thing to say "we will stop taking work but will honour all exisitng contracts" but its another to suddenly stop and leave customers high and dry. Hopefylly only the work done was paid for.
  6. I always thought it was down as June/July
  7. Sadly it is the minority who will spoil it. I have sent a screen shot of this video to British Transport Police, so lets hope they investigate the offenders and deal with them.
  8. Hi Dave Without wanting to be negative or pessamistic on this, what is the plan if you don't hit the required figure? Will you leave the order book open longer and delay production?
  9. Hi Alex Personally I would not be too worried about it, I was a bit concerened at first - especially since it was a coach that was hard to find (Farish Hadrian Bar) but knew once the coach arrived everything was fine and that all future orders will be fulfilled - good job as once I have the pennies you guys have a few coaches I want
  10. Hornby magazine has put a video out to show off the osund - seems to cope with 7 Mark 1's on the level, including a standing start
  11. The new Hornby Magazine has a review of Nunney Castle and really praises the sound, however I could see no mention of the haulage capability of the model. Not sure if that is good news or not.
  12. Looks like the sound Castle is going to be here soon, better get the bank card prepared for that hit
  13. I have to say it is an excellent shop, not used the physical shop itself but placed a few orders online and received them no problem. Only thing I would point out to any users of the web shop is that your order history will show as pending but it will get sent. I placed 2 orders in September and December 2016 and both are still pending now. I will certainbly be back as you have a few hard to get coaches I want - just need the pennies for them first
  14. Thank you all for your answers, based on the above and the current layout plans a footbridge would be the answer - the line is very flat through the scenic section with a canal near by at (roughly) the same level so chances are this surrounding water would flood the subway in some way.
  15. Good afternoon I am building an N Gauge GWR junction station layout, the main line from Paddington to Swansea will go through on 2 lines (up and down) with a branch line also operating. As the line as 2 platforms 1 of which has 2 platform faces one mainline and one branch line, I was wodnering would it have a footbridge or subway? Most of the stations on the GWR Main Line have a subway but they are more than 2 platforms but the footbridge looks nicer from a model railway point of view, so I was wondering which is right.
  16. Great news, still got my fingers crossed that sometime in June you post to say this project is on
  17. Much better it seems with the weight, out of interest where did you add it?
  18. I agree with Karhedron, we need some more pie's, especially now I have just pre-ordered mine thanks to model sales allowing me to fund the pruchase of a pair - King's that is, not pies.
  19. Although I have not signed up yet, I fully intend to do so for 1 and hopefully 2 Kings. Just need to release some funds from OO Gauge sales to fund their purchases, fingers crossed they sell in time for me to sign up
  20. Were any Bachmann 47's ever made with 8 pin sockets? I have D1500 which I am sure was from the first batch and that is a 21 pin
  21. That's you well and truely screwed untill christmas then
  22. Thanks Dave, Looks like I had better get some overtime in or sell some more models ready to pay for these. I know you will do a great job on them
  23. Hi Dave Do you have a rough idea of when payments would be expected? I am guessing the first will be due about 18th June or 1st July then the rest dependant on how fast things progress. I really want a pair of these and want to make sure I will have the money in place for when you need it so I don't miss out.
  24. Great news that it is going to happen, my wallet might not agree. Certainly temoted by a pair of GWR liveried King's so better try and get some more overtime in to pay for them.
