  1. I have just bought a second hand one of these but it is missing the little extras, specifically the exhaust pipes for the pistons and the breakrods. Can you buy the accessory pack as a spare part? Rovex
  2. That's a relief, having accidentally ordered two sets from batch two, at least my wallet has a chance to recover.
  3. Rails have just emailed to say due September/October
  4. Just paid for mine. I must really make a note of my pre-orders. Just found out while I was trying to remember who I ordered this off that I've ordered two identical sets of Dapol toplights from different suppliers. Managed to get one of them changed to a different set.
  5. Precisely, just lose the hat. Of course you'll need a sixties style figure for Susan
  6. I suppose for the first Doctor (Hartnell), a suitably painted Edwardian gent might be passable?
  7. Could you perhaps get away with individual cut panes for the larger windows, they seem to be a standard size. Cut to fit into the frames and then put the glass behind for the dropframes in the doors?
  8. If I had a criticism, and it's not with the brilliant work you've done, it's the depth of the window reveals. Some near flush glazing would be the cherry on the cake
  9. Plenty of time to save up for that Christmas wagon then
  10. I'm a little out of touch when it comes to freight stock. My layout when I finally run a train is a mainline passenger station, so my interest has mainly been on coaching stock. However there will still be freight trains passing through, either longhaul or shorter trains passing between marshalling yards/depots on either side of the city station. The layout is based in the early 1950's and I am just wondering what fellow modellers currently consider to be the best rtr wagon models. I've been very impressed with the Bachmann underframe offered on their current po wagons/vans and tankers when compared to the likes of Hornby.
  11. Got to be Flying Scotsman surely! I'll get my hat and coat
  12. As for the canopies, if it was me, I'd add battens from front to back at approximately 8mm apart and paint it a mottled mid gray. I quite liked this model when it came out but it's obviously portraying the building as I presume it is today with an asphalt roof and chimneys demolished
  13. Any more news on when these are hitting the shops?
  14. Sure I've got one of these on preorder. Trouble I forget who've I've ordered these things from.
  15. A nice little run of three Victorian shops on Comberton Hill, Kidderminster near the SVR station
  16. On the BBC website https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-66108903?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=news_tab
  17. Presumably built as a BTK, brake third corridor
  18. So did these run in rakes or individually or a combination of the two?
  19. Not all branch line termini had an engine shed although I expect most did. Watlington didn't have a shed. The engine was sent down the line in the morning by the shed on the mainline
  20. Church Street, Kidderminster, perhaps the best street left in the town
