Solid as a brick s*******se! or so they say!
So that will be the 'Office' on the end...
Looks very good Cap'n. Good idea to install a spare bulb
-
'go anywhere, any time'
Were The Goodies driving?
-
Nive work Mr CK! "Gotten", I 'm trying to imagine what you look like all country and western, yee harrr!
Got a vision of the Cap'n in a big hat and chaps carrying a lasso...
Nice work on the goods shed Cap'n.
-
I think a loco like that should have a bit of a wobble.
Yes it would be a shame to paint it but you're going to have to...
-
Looks good Cap'n. Will you be doing anything about the canopy and office roofs? They might look a bit out of place next to the Scalescenes main one.
edit - crane looks great too.

When I build my layout...
Oh no, I haven't built one...
-
Loving the little Ruston.
Powerflow flux isn't corrosive at all, when it's been heated it just goes green (after a while), so if you don't wash it off straight away you know where it is. Very good stuff.
-
REALLY looking forward to this weekend at Rochdale now - I think...

Lovely stuff Mikkel, but could you tell me what the odd looking (to very non GWR eyes) loco in the last photo is please.
-
So, trains running when? tomorrow night?
Looks like a great little project Chris, perfect for the 'car boot expo'...

...just out of interest what is the haulage capacity of the little chap?
If I ever find out Nick I'll let you know! Adam's right, I haven't the space, or enough wagons, to find out.
Perhaps when it finished I'll try and persuade Paul (Worsdell forever) to let me loose with it on his EM layout at an exhibition... not that this one is really good enough to appear in public.
Paul.
It will be welcome any time Paul.

It just gets better. I wouldn't worry about the incorrect length, it looks superb.
-
Very good, though I wouldn't call it beautiful, they certainly have character.
-
Lovely work there Captain,
Well, knowing a signalman and his love of his comfy chair, I think sitting in it would be entirely appropriate. Perhaps smoking his pipe? although the one I know doesn't smoke a pipe.
Edit - looks like the sheep may be a job for the Goodies...
-
Great little film Chris, is it by the soon to be legendary Ivan Locksmith by any chance?
Hope you are having a good show and the layout is behaving it's self.
-
They need a new category at the awards ceremony's for this...
-
According to Qi they could just use an ordinary ball point pen in space.
Q. Did you write that and what did you use?
A. Aye, Pencil...
-
Looking good, can't wait to see it with some dollops of grease, the kind that looks like it has been applied with a shovel!
I was a little surprised when I saw that you had thinned the paint with de-ionised water, then I saw the pot of Humbrol Acrylic the model is posed on. Do they now do the full range in acrylic

Looks great, brilliant way to use a couple of spare hours, love the wriggly tin. I also bought one of those Presflo's (a grey one) with no use for it, but they do look good.
-
You could do 2 in the second week...
-
If in doubt start again, A bit like this one? 19 levers but no gate wheel.
-
(i'm ment to have the 2mmFS layout attending , should learn to keep quite when people ask me things )
You will learn, I have.
We'll be keeping an eye on progress to make sure you keep it up...
-
Looking good Cap'n, for a truly modular building it's a shame the kit isn't easier to build either way round.
-
And I like brewery wagons!
So not their contents then?
Don't see how it could irk the purists, isn't that why the brewery was built there, the purity of the water?

How do those files compare to a 'Ruddy Great' one?
Looking better now Cap'n.
