Ah - the boomerang things are adjustable cranks that go to the tie bars - adjustable so that the throw can be adjusted Compensation cranks are the w shaped cranks that mount on to two bearings - they convert push to shove or vice versa and are there to compensate for temperature related expansion/contraction Have you seen this web site?   6. Agree re the copperclads - very good for strength! but don't forget to gap them on both sides if you are going to put pins or screws through them - here speaks the voice of experience acquired from such an omission....!!!! Phil

  22. We have one that got to the stage of a complete bodyshell including painting just at the point when Heljan announced theirs. Has subsequently gone nowhere but contemplating buying one of the currently cheap Heljan models and dropping the body on. Intrigued to see how this pans out with the mlv chassis .. Kind regards Phil
