  8. Excellent embankments with the liner - looks well with the Woodlands Scenics breaking the "uniforminity" Well Done. Ian
  9. Oh yes... Circular saw and heavy duty power drilling. Layout manufacture on a near industrial scale. Good weapons of choice. Ian

      Unless you're working ;-(

  16. 50 pages notout (thats nearly an anagram of Toton) ....ahem. Congratulations anyway - I have been waiting for an all up shot - you really get the size of it all with so much depth - next up must be the cladding? - which will obviously bring it to life externally. Ian (edit: I see the familiar brick walls and garage door rear - so familiar Alex - but try squeezing a layout in with assorted bikes - mowers in various states of disrepair unwanted furniture and enough carparts to rival Halfords
  17. Looking great Richard - it has been good and informative as ever following the progress - always good to see a completed layout from start to finish - something I seldom achieve......! Might be at the RICOH - is it Orchard Road or Acacia for exhibiting? Ian
  18. Neat Andrew - like you say some tidying to suit and its a good one. That depot interior reminds me of work totally familiar with FLT Chargers and this looks well..
  19. Gresty Road DRS Open Day tickets arrived.

  20. Nice images there Alex - lots of suitable associated paraphernalia scattered about. Oil drums - Timber - Rags - Diesel FLT - Basket all easily available and made. Must admit the Trainload Coal sector has to be a favourite of mine - pity I was out of the loop in timeline when it was a common sight. Ian
  21. When you have the depot floor base coat down and FULLY dried out wash over lightly with thinners then drop Railmatch Black on the surface this gives a decent oily splash effect when landing on the thinners. NOTE: try out on a test area first! Ian
  22. Always wondered what the floor would be....! Straight concrete sprayed plasticard left to dry off (cure) and washed with dirty thinners (dirtier and grimier in the inspection pits) with some liberal thinned down Railmatch Black "oil" drops on the depot floor using drips off a brush or syringe maybe? - that is a well tried method I recommend - worth an experiment Alex? Ian
