Just seen on our local news that the Gas Board (or whatever they are called these days) can't mend the road they dug up before Christmas because the Tarmac plant is closed! 15 mile diversion in place until Monday when the plant opens again.

Thanks for all the inputs, mine is as above but I have now given up and binned it! Tried to make it work in different locos but to no avail and just got pi***d off with it.

I seem to have a problem with a 36-557 decoder. It is behaving most strangely when fitted to a Bachmann 4F. I have tried umpteen resets with CV 8 to 8 to no avail and also programming CVs individually to see if that works. It goes into full speed at speed step one and is completely uncontrollable.The loco works perfectly with a DCC Concepts Zen 21 pin. Anyone else had a problem with them? I rather suspect it is duff but to return it to the shop entails a fairly long drive that will cost as much in fuel as the decoder cost!! Any ideas welcome. Thanks Roger
