    Hi Trev, Sorry, the 25 should be 250 and it's yes, the first part e.g. 250ml/(1350ml+250ml) is all ml. Why are we adding 250ml on the bottom? That's your acid, the 1350ml is the water, giving the total volume of solution. As your acid is already diluted to 81%, you multiply by 0.81 to get the final dilution. Hopefully I have remembered that right!

    250/1350 * 0.81 = 15% 250/1640 * 0.81 = 12.3% Or 250/(1350+250) *0.81 = 12.6%

    I just realised I have a sheet of HMRS GWR loco transfers (strangely methfix when all my others are pressfix, but oh well), looks like I'm going to have to sacrifice some GWR letters to check them. They are quite a few years old and I can't even remember where I got them from so no chance of any refund now.

    Hi Scott, Apologies if I've missed this - what do you use as a former for creating the roofs? I was going to use this technique of using individual "planks" for creating some 3 arc roofs for brass GWR 4 wheel coach kits that I have no roofs for. cheers

    Kingspan/Celotex is pretty rubbish once you peel the foil off. It doesn't crumble but it does warp badly.

    The price is per metre, so unless you select 1m, you get a length of how ever many multiples of 1m you ask for. e.g. put quantity 5 and you get 5m.

    Thanks Martin. So it looks like after the migration of data to the new forum, all the notifications settings I had set to "No notification" have been replaced with "Immediate Notification". The only ones in the whole 7 pages I have currently with No Notification are the ones I have had to change when getting digests for them.

    I did the same last week and was still being spammed with digests. As Andy53B says, it turns out you have to go to every single thread where you may have accidentally forgotten to disable mail notifications: As a rule, I always select "Do not send me any notifications" but clearly have missed doing so on some topics. It could be a long haul waiting for every topic you've done this on to be replied to and getting the digest before you can change their settings.

    I would have but I don't want to take the kit out of it's exquisite packaging! I keep looking at the box thinking how professionally it has been packed. A credit to your attention to detail, Ian. The missus is away this weekend, so I might get to make a start on one of them.

    It's in the ellipsis menu at the top right; This cause the browser to lie to the website about the device it's running on. Most phones have better resolution than a lot of PCs nowadays so it is not done on sensing the pixel size of the browser alone.
