Fitted on the layout when the two Co Bos work the Condor together..it is pictured in the Toddler!
-
They have one running at Embsay ( a real one) and it looks lovely.

Nice work Baz. I have some difficulty with white ink as it seems to be harder to keep in suspension than darker colours. Any tips?
I use windsor and newton white ink. It evaporates a lot and turns into a thick goo which responds well to some additional water and a tiny drop of washing up liquid.

Very nice work Barry.
Ta very much. Painting from me.. my dad was the builder.
-
Yes... doesn't work as well as it did.

Good luck with LNWR livery Paul. There is a lot to go on the tank engine.

Try the BR lined BR maroon duchess...you either love it or hate it. And a lined BR steam blue one....

Weathered maroon...

That bomb bay looks interesting. Leave the doors off and add two torpedoes and you have 38 squadron "torpington". These were used in the med. My old man was on their first torpedo based mission. He was a wireless op/air gunner.
Their claim to fame was dropping two torpedoes on Rommels' HQ when an engine went U/S.

Stop being a wuss and just finish it. These were state of the art when they first were released by Stephen Poole. Compare it with the RTF offerings of the day..Triang Connie/Nellie

Close up the tender coupling gap while you're at it Baz!
done - I didn't set it originally - will try it at the Club room tonight
-
It might just be the angle of the photo, but to me, the loco looks to be high at the back or low at the front.
Dave.
Hadn't quite fastened the cab end down - now sorted

The 2-6-4Ts were nice.. mine appear on a number of layouts not least Herculaneum Dock.. I have finally sold a Std 4MT tank as I am less likely to use one of those...still have two kicking about theough

Sad times, Leeds Trams are no more - well Headingley is still around but no longer on the exhibition circuit....perhaps time for a new Leeds based tram layout?

G1s look nice in unlined black wit a smidgeon of weathering

not a fan of Black on Jubilees but rebuilt Scots and Rebuilt Patriots look good in that livery.
-
Are you going to fit removable catenary for this? Plug in signals as well?
That way you can cover the stock you want.
Baz

NSW - nice loco... Mike is supposed to build Bihar and Orissa at some point and I have found my nameplates for Sea Horse and also Uganda....
-
Enough? Is there such a concept as enough Jubilees? Next you will be telling me there can be too many 4Fs, but that would be madness!
Anyway. lovely selection.
I have a few 4Fs - all Wills ones but I do like 8Fs and we needed some of them....seem to have ended up with 3 of them..
-
MORE MORE MORE MORE, they look great even if they are not Crimson. I always find any excuse to run them on my layout on nearly any type of duty, "very useful" locomotives indeed
I even have one working through the paint shops in 1946 black
Paul .. I don't like them in LMS Maroon for some reason -- the BR green looks good, perhaps a BR Steam loco blue one?....nah..only kidding!
-
with my 4 (plus another Ks one somewhere) plus the 5 other people have we have enough for Chapel en le Frith. Next up Rebuilt Scots and Britannia locos...
-
great .. so do I!
