  1. I work for a parcel company and for the past month, I've done nothing but solid 12 hour days monday to friday, start at 7am, first delivery at 8am and last delivery usually at 6pm and back to the depot by 7pm then 30 minute drive home. I'm knackered when I get home and usually only have time to shower and eat before it's bed at 9pm before the next day brings more chaos and demanding customers. I really hope and wish that all shops would close Christmas Eve. Boxing day and the day after as there is no need to be open. It's just people panic buying and retailers after profit. They don't care about their staff coming in at stupid oclock on Boxing day because it's not the big heads of the company that's the one doing the shop opening, it's their slaves and shops workers doing it. Bosses just sit at home drinking the profits in their mansions while the workers get by on minimum wages long hours and arrogant customers shouting and being abusive to them for not serving them fast enough. Workers in retail deserve to have a life outside of their workplace and not just work work work. Rant over (Head clear)
  2. Thanks, That does help, I had one from Rainbow Railways in falkirk but would like an original one, I'm building up 2 set so that one can go onto the next Fife set when money allows it, although the Bachmann MK2f's may change my mind when they come out.
  3. Hi, Has anyone had problems getting hold of the Scotrail ones? Hattons have sold out of them all and the MK2F BSO are virtually extinct. Mat
  4. Very nice, and it can be used for an internal use wagon at a steel works like this one at Scunthorpe works, I think they have 6 of them.
  5. Don't you mean 68's? or are you after the n scale one's
  6. I don't really have a time period, so I could re-number it in the 6-9 range if they had the large fuel tanks as delivered.
  7. Evening all, Long worded question time I'm afraid for the people in the know, I've bought a replacement body from Dapol in the correct livery for 68005 and still have the original 68005 when it was first released. I've also have 68010 in Chiltern colours but this body has body damaged to it, so I've replaced the chiltern body with the new 68005 body to the chassis of 68010 but I've now noticed that the underneath (tanks and other gubbings) of 68010 is slightly different to the original 68005. Would I have to re-number the new 68005 with the chassis of 68010 to something else to keep it correct. I hope that makes sense. Mathew
  8. Hi, I keep checking my order via the website and it says "Processing" I know the money has left my bank when I ordered the tanks but am hoping they arrive before Christmas. Mathew
  9. It's going to cost a bit to replicate a full load like this.
  10. What are the length of these wagons, buffer to buffer? please. Mathew
  11. Oh lordy lordy, my bank manager has just rung and told me he's extending the overdraft for these....
  12. Again, the BBA for me but can we have a realistic load for it. either coils or a slab load. Mathew
  13. mmmmmmm........... BBA steel wagon for me please.....
  14. I went up the M6 to J21a then m62 to J6 and down the Knowsley expressway A5300, over the roundabout and it's 800 yards from there and on the way back I had a quick visit to Ikea on the M62, It's the long way round but I'm not paying the toll and also the sat-nav hasn't been up-dated to show the new road layouts.
  15. Evening, I had a nice drive to Widnes today to pick up two of these ZZA wagons and also to see the new shop and location as I was used to the one in Liverpool. I really like the wagons and am glad that finally I can run something with my DRS 37 in pairs. They are great qwirky things to be honest, they have lots of weight in them to hold them to the track while being pushed and pulled and you only need two to make a prototypical rake, 2 loco's and 2 ZZA ploughs and that's it. Regards Mathew.
  16. 3 70's on the Crewe - Southampton Intermodal...... Nice

  17. Evening, 67028 DB called into Crewe today 27-04-2018 on 6Z26 Toton North Yard to Crewe C.S. (L&Nwr Site) with Porterbrook Railway translator vehicles and RBA wagons for the collection of Elisabeth Line Unit 345032 from the LNWr site. Enclosed is a group of pictures that might help somebody who might want to replicate the coaches and wagons used to do this working. The usual loco used is a DB 67. Hope this help somebody. Mathew

  20. This is attached to the gate on the entrance to the iemd with a basic track plan but it's not complete. For a complete one Google maps can help and Flickr is a good source of pictures.

  22. I added 500 people to my flickr account this week, so far 3 have returned the favour. What's the point....

Who cares who wants to follow you? I use Flickr for my enjoyment, adding other people to 'like' my page certainly doesn't enhance that enjoyment.

What blueeighties said. If you are only adding these people to gain followers, and 500 in a day would suggest that, calm down and just enjoy it. Tag photos and let people find you naturally. Then any follows are because they like your work.

I agree with Phil and blueeighties I have about 90 followers Phil and Blueeighties included I use Flickr for mostly reference and of course for looking through rose tinted glasses.

  23. Hi, Are these still available to order? I sent an e-mail 2 weeks ago but have not had any reply yet. I would really like 4-6 of these if they are still being made/produced. Thanks Mathew
