Are you sure a 180 can go that distance at that speed without being declared a failure?

  14. Jim, The way I look at stuff like being signed off work is a blessing. 3 years ago, I got signed off work for 26 weeks!!! I had 15 weeks of not doing a single thing then 11 weeks of doing stuff I wanted to do with railways. At the end of the day, Your Health is more important than work. Look after number 1 (That's yourself Jim) Get some rest, relax, chill out, do some modelling and you will get back to work. Mathew

  17. Evening all, Hope this picture of 60087 inside Crewe IEMD is good enough.
  18. Sorry Iron Horse, I only heard about it because my window was open and I heard the throb of the engines, looked out of the window to see the 56 pair go by slowly. Maybe it will be the same again on Thursday??? Mathew
  19. Evening Jim, Just out of Interest, have you ever been down the Middlewich line while working a train? It's only that with the Crewe to Chester line having engineering work done, I saw at 10.20pm, 56078 and 56113 heading down from Crewe on a Baglan Bay to Chirk Kronospan working. 18 odd wagons loaded with freshly cut trees smelling quite nice. I don't personally know of any 56's working down this line in pairs. I'm hoping it runs again this week as I can get the camera out and capture this working again. Mathew
  20. Hi, Just a side-note, I last saw 08714 at Marcroft Stoke, at the head of a long line of wagons of which 1 had de-railed. It looks like it's been replaced by another 08. Mathew
  21. Here is a few of mine that I got this and last week on the Crewe IEMD depot. I believe there are 12 08's in total at the EMD depot. There is a line of other 08 with 08567 08706 08865 08757 08804 in the same line with 58048 90025 and 90031 for company, These can be seen through the builders yard next to the depot but not in anyway photographable. 08593 has a YKA wagon next to it and there is another 08 beyond it but wasn't going to risk getting seen to try and get a picture of it.
  22. Evening Bob, Casey Lane is in the small village of Hough. It's a good place for spotting and photo's as the freights are slowing to get into Basford Yard and as they leave they are still not at full speed. Mathew
