    I thought the original generator class 47's had the ethical cable on the bufferbeam, and the later eth conversions had them just above the bufferbeam?

    I've always liked the g2s don't know why though, must be the rugged, simplistic construction of them. Will this be offered for sale?

    I only find them on ebay tbh I know the Bachmann one is better but there also more expensive

    3 roy gould vga van kits for £21 to go with the other two I won for a tenner so just over £30 for five wagons

    I recently won a rake of 4 triang mk1 coaches with comet sides already fitted and painted in choc/cream for £40 which is cheaper than the parts and today I won 9 airfix mk2d coaches for £53 which I also thought was quite good

    it must be quite frustrating selling personal models via eBay but as other people have eluded to for the buyer it can be quite rewarding as I have just taken delivery of 4 comet conversions of triang coaches for £40 and they're quite well made.

    c5187 is a really good photo I've been musing over buying some parkside kits for those hoppers and it's made my mind up for me.

    roughly what year did the sole bar strengthening plates start to be fitted?
