Looks quite effective Ian. I find plastruct tube with a stiff wire through it useful for operating turnouts.

There was some good modelling on the dries and the viaduct well worthy of being resurrected. Plan looks very good to me.

Lovely job on the wall Dave. I have only just had a go with flocking. I bought one from Pendukemodels (the small applicator) cannot say if others are better. I went for small as I think it is best doing a small area at a time. I just mixed all sorts of flocks together a photo of the first try on my thread.

Can the software be re-sized for 0 gauge or does that require extra work? The results look good.

I know quite a few top notch builders who all prefer to use NS for loco building. The Loco should look nice. I have an 0 gauge Beaconsfield from Dragon Models. I do like the Cambrian locos

Nice job Mikkel.
I don't know why you say this is too large for shunting it is much the same as a 57xx which I used to see doing a lot of shunting at Reading. True there were a lot of the 850s but these could well have shunted ready for a trip run or between trips.

Very neat and professional Pete as expected. I would add the words viewing side to the diagram as my first reaction to the term circulating area was as where the viewing public would go.

Superb job there Dave. When I used the grante ballast with PVA it did turn green but I hid that with some heavy weathering.

Nice work. A suitable sized tray might help with the cleaning. For really big pieces garden centres do a tray to hold a grow bag. But that would be for 0 gaugers.
As for the uneven timbers trim back any bit that stick out too much the shorter ends will show less when ballasted.

If I hadn't seen your work for myself I would find it hard to believe. A very nice riveter too.

These look very similar to the ones I am using for a lighting rig on the club layout. One of our members used them successfully on his layout.

A tree is always a tree look at the bonsai ones. To me it would seem more logical to have the 0 gauge in front and the 00 behind kinda more natural perspective. However that would probably give problems due to the tigher radius inside.
How about a scenic cover that could be placed over the 00 when running 0 gauge and a low backscene of hills that could be inserted in front of the 0 gauge to run 00. A backscene of distant hills and sky behind the 0 gauge could work for both.

If you did the 0-6-0 version the Sir Daniel would look quite different!

Interesting piece. I do enjoy a bit of shunting myself. As you say having a system with several stations can make for more interest. Having some means of generating traffic movements which has a random element in it keeps it interesting.

Nice work Mike. It should hold its shape. However avoid leaving the coaches in strong sunlight it could re-soften the plastic.

Good work on the coaches Mike you have a pretty unique collection of models.

I missed them. Looks good.

Looks very nice. I have seen somewhere small pieces of copper corrugated. Another option might be 4mm corrougated asbestos roofing it might be the right size for 0 gauge metal sheets.
I took a few pictures of Bodiam when I visited about 5 years ago it looks very nice done up.

Thanks Java was a bit after my time. I was using Boreland C compiler.

Very clever. I expected the gates to open across the road. Forgive my ignorance but how do you talk to the Arduino. I presume the code has to be compiled. It has been some years but I used to write in C, Basic and assembler and have also input machine code direct. (you have to build your own timing loops for delays in machine code.

Halls were usually good haulers. I seem to remember seeing them pull some pretty long trains through Reading.

The double headed warships look good but do I understand the hall took the same train on its own? Sounds about right HaHa.
You seem to have had a good day.
Don

That is a great result Mike.

I hope there is a decent bitter. Mind you with the geese that close to the pub door trade may be restricted.

Lovely collection of wagons. One of the postmen at Much Wenlock had been a guard on the railway there and could remember seeing wagons at Presthope labelled ED and Round Oak Works smaller underneath. Limestone headed for the Steel works
