  2. Just finished erecting a flagpole in the garden. A Union flag has been raised, but I need to source one more durable than a souvineer from a museum.

  3. Garden railways are fun. 50 wagon train going one way and 13 coach train going the other snaking through the conifers. I have a tia-maria and cointreau. Lovely.

      They're recovered. that's the main thing. And if in taking their time, they catch the scumbags who did this, wouldn't the wait be worth it?

      I suspect they will try to keep hold of them until the case goes to court to produce them for evidence. Although I'm not an expert on their procedures. I would contact them and ask them if you can come and collect them ASAP adding that you'd more than happily produce photos or bring the models to court if needed.

       

      I think you may have to contact them several times before getting anywhere...

  21. The Police have phoned to say they have got fingerprints off the items the thieves dropped so hopefully they will match known local scum.

      I hope at least some of your stock is recovered. Robbery is a horrible thing to deal with. Getting 1:1 replacements is not the same, as they are not 'your' loco's. Good luck Jenny.

       

      Maybe a post in the thefts section with details on what to look for may help.
