All, I'm looking for photo's of the 1948 modifications that were made to the back plate of the A4's tenders towed at the time by Mallard, Seagull and Lord Farringdon. They had cut outs made each sideof the corridor connector http://www.steamlocomotives.photos.gb.net/p63221387.html as seen in this photo of Seagull. I'd like if posssible a photo of the top of the Tender. If any one has one or can point me to a book with such a photo then please let me know. Thanks

I use an airbrush to weather - sublty is key. I think those two look great with out. There's a different texture to plastic bodies that weathering improves, metal bodies don't seem to need this. -
