I hope to begin track building and laying very soon!

When I was on Guernsey I stayed with Julie & her partner.
Lisa -
I emailed her requesting a photograph, and she then returned it, with the photograph, which I used in this post, attached.
I know her quite well, but although we live quite close, it is difficult for us to meet, because of the length of the journey, using public transport.

What are the wooden blocks for, in the last two photographs?

Where did you purchase the NEC Auto Switch unit?

Your layout is no longer unhinged! I meet an man at the 2mm AGM, in Bolton Lancs, who has definitely never done anything unhinged in his modelling existence. His name is Geoff Jones.

He, it must be a he, I cannot see a woman behaving in that manor, is a Jobsworth!

Missed you at the AGM, but it's not possible to be in two placed at once.

One of the most difficult tasks I have found in modelling is sticking two different types of plastic together. I have found that a thin piece of styrene sheet acts as a buffer, and different adhesives an be used on each side, provided that they don't attack it.
You might find this a useful technique when you start working on the weir, when you will require to stick styrene to the surface of the perspex that you have used for the water surface.

I don't understand the change in level between the stream under the bridge and the opening in the fasia?

I am intrigued, what is an APB box?

I imagine that the weight of the legs, is very important, if they are having to be carried on an off public transport?

I went to college with a William Sticker's. When he saw sign's saying Bill Stickers will be prosecuted, he was not amused.

I would have taken the bridge road up and at the same time taken the other roads down. The total effect is the same, but the distance is harved.

Nice Looking!
I see you like drinking Lucozade too.

Have you considered the use of a pocket, for the controller, which clips over the fiddleyard fascia?
This would enable one handed controller use, and reduces or even eliminates the possibility of the controller ending up on the floor.

It's like squeezing 3 litres into a litre bottle!

I look forward to the next installment.

Hi
Guernsey never had a real railway. BUT they use to have a tramway from St Peter Port to the Bridge in St Samson.

Hi
The railway runs on Sundays, in September from 10:00 until 16:00. The driver takes an hour off for lunch, from 12:00 until 13:00.

Yes of course, but not on the scenic part, but in the fiddleyard.
