  1. Hi Jan

The previous version didn't have the problem. The runners hold the yard horizontally quite nicely so there isn't much gradient on the shelves. Even my most free running stock doesn't roll about. I am considering how to switch the DCC power off to the unselected levels. The chance of selecting a loco not aligned with the exit road and driving it off is probably a more likely risk than the rolling loose vehicle.

Could you not mount end-boards for the non-track-level stock?

  2. There is a Finer N gauge track system under development, progress on which can be seen here : http://www.ngaugefor...hp?topic=3280.0No connection other than an interested observer! One thing I would say is if you start using Easitrac and get to grips with constructing point work (which is not as difficult as people think thanks to the jigs available), you will find it very difficult to go back to Peco!Tom.

On that note.. I wonder how hard or reliable it would be to do the same thing from the other angle - 3d printing? You could do some really complex bits of trackwork that way...

  3. Hi Kiwinewt, I can sen you the box file but you will need Templot to edit it, sorry if I have missed the obvious and you do have it! Think you plan looks good, and as Nike say "just do it" part of the reason for my just doing it was I didn't mind making mistakes and moving on and learning from my mistakes.

The problem for me is getting a short way into it and having *everything* else coming up, leading to not being able to get anything done on it for months... and then losing motivation to do anything more. I think with settrack it should help this, and help me get things done faster/easier, in turn letting me play trains sooner for more motivation :)
