That is his well-practiced regal wave so well suited to passing through busy stations in an observation vehicle.

Imagine walking confidently into that Pub through the swing doors, stopping as you see what it is actually like  and the place goes silent and that mob turn to look at you standing there!  Q Clint Eastwood style Music etc.

Absolutely terrifying .

It was good to meet Grahame's friends, I can only wish the circumstances had been different. but I can now get my head around him not ringing me up for a chat and going for a meal when I'm next in Devon.

It was slightly strange to meet members of his family whom I worked with back in the 1980's and never made that connection.

Life is full of strange happenings!

Very kind of you and others to pick this up CK.

Am sure items will be very popular both in terms of quality and contributions to very appropriate charities.

Thank you Tim.

I'm sure everyone will join me in saying how much we all appreciate that most difficult and sadly  unexpected  of  tasks that you all have taken on.

Rest assured there will be as much room as you need at SWAG.

Speak soon.

Rob.

The news about Grahame had escaped me until I read about his passing on the SWAG meeting thread. Terrible news, and such a loss for his family and friends. Although I only met him on relatively few occasions, he was instantly likeable and I'll particularly cherish the memory of a quiet chat with him on the seats outside the school at the Taunton show, a few months before lockdown. RIp Grahame.
