  1. Sadly now delayed until 3rd quarter 2024. Due to waiting for the prototype being available to record the sound.
  2. I've successfully fitted the new Bachmann operating BSI couplings to an old 158 set. Fairly straightforward; - remove the lower cowling, file the chassis flat infront of the bogie, use a round file to make a longitudinal grove for the spring in the mechanism, drilled 2x clearance holes to mount the coupling using 10BA screws and nuts, Then reassemble. I fitted them both to the powered cars and not the dummy ones Regards Roy
  3. Once the body is off there are two screws which hold the cab internals in place to fit a crew. These are the inner most from the cab ends. Remove these two and gently lever between front of body and cab internal. Sadly not all of the light guides survive depending on the amount of glue used. Good luck. Regards Mr B
  4. Thank you for confirming, my CV63 is set the same. I did wonder what the max value was for CV 63. Looks like I'll have to modify mine for louder sound, as per @Harlequin 's inspirational post. I've been used to their diesel class 37's sound, which I know has much more space to fit a large speaker.
  5. Hi everyone, The factory fitted sound on my Manor seems quite quiet, I know the CVs suggested to be changed for the main sound. Wondering if anyone else has changed the volume on their Manor to raise the level and which value is best changed for which CVs? Regards Roy
  6. Hi Jim, Good work on finding a replacement motor. Could you please share a link to the motor on AliExpress? Regards & thanks Mr B
  7. I'm having the same problem too. All my Accurascale Loksound V5 fitted Deltics are fine, but my recent Accurascale 92s and class 20s are the same. With the 92s, I 'm unable to disable the pantagraphs as an example, using my ECoS, ZTC or Dynamis Pro. I've contacted Accurascale, but they are aware of the problem, but not sure what's at fault.
  8. I wouldn't mind a photo or graphic of how the loco will be produced, to illustrate livery style and tender choice?
  9. The item 4mm-3359 I applied to two of my 170s in the past and I felt the branding was too big for the side of the 170, unless the Bachmann logos are too small? Regards & thanks Mr B
  10. Hi Steve, Could you to do pack with the alternative numbers and the Gaelic branding, rather than buy a whole sheet? Regards & thanks Mr B
  11. For me again it comes down to the buffer beam detailing. Bachmann usually lack details here and the position and size of the miniature snow ploughs is a turn off with the 37 & 47. This is the reason for my choosing the Heljan 47 and the AS 37. The 37 & 47 snow ploughs are different but Bachmann use a generic size.
  12. For those interested there is a tick box for the LEV1 in the Rapido form. Choices for me would be; - A few niche choices, but all local to me. Mr B
  13. I could do when I get around to the body swap from my 7 car set. Regards Roy
  14. Managed to get mine running on a friends layout without any running issues. I had to pre-program the DCC chips before fitting, think the issue is the capacitors when trying to program with them fitted.
  15. For removing the windows, try putting the shell in the freezer for 20 mins then push them out, should come out easier. Regards Mr B
