Took my first train ride since early 2020 today - short hop CLC to Styal, train was rammed between Oxford Rd and Piccadilly for Parklife.
Required 5 gin and tonics, a zinfandel and a bottle of Camden Lager, a gammon steak and later a lamb curry to calm myself

Browsing Flickr I came across these images of an old rail connected distribution centre, I once walked past in in the four foot and got a telling off from someone who worked there. I'd never seen any images of this place till now and I realised that now I have no-one to share this with as anyone who may have been interested is no longer with me, how sad...

What does the panel think of using swede (that'll be neep to viewers up top, but who cares as they're rutabagas anyway) in a veg curry?
The Mrs has gone off to meet her daughter in Malta for 10 days and left loads of veg that isn't pies, sausages, white bread or chips and I'm bu99ered if I know what to do with it!

Went to Formby today, Mrs Woodhead fell asleep on the sand to be awoken by a random dog licking her neck.
On the way home I pigeon flew straight into the front of the car and exploded into feathers - it wasn't my fault but I still feel guilty for killing it.

How about either giving me a call direct on 01463 234004 or the warehouse on 01234 328792 and I will get whatever the problem is sorted.

It's too late now to spend the afternoon in the bath.

I was minding my own business earlier today, sat in my own railway room, contemplating an aesthetically pleasing pannier tank, when I heard an advertisement on the wireless for the LNER! Yes, the LNER! The effrontery, bringing the name of that railway uninvited, into my own private sanctum!

I can't believe there ae still Covid deniers posting on SM and not getting deleted. How can people deny something that has been going on for almost two years?
