is currently in 1L73 being pilotman worked over the UF in the down direction between Woking & Farnborough - a proper piece of old-fashion railway practice on the modern railway - Lovely !!! All the years I looked after the Emergency X-over at Farnborough and never travelled through it until right now - new track !!!!

That satisfying change of note whilst running-in a new loco that is something freeing up and it running like a sewing machine afterwards.

Has today replaced BOTH broken (not folding anymore) wing mirrors on my CX-5 and is feeling pretty pleased with himself. (£150 each and no labour 😁). Had to sacrifice the Construction liveried Class 56 for the funds though 😥).

Has just been through the kit / scratchbuilt-built wagon boxes and scrapped anything that I now have better models of as RTR. Wheels, bearings and buffers recovered where possible. Couldn't bring myself to get rid of the 20 MDV's though.
