Andy, you are not alone. I've been fiddling about with the placement of the station buildings at Hintock Redux for several weeks now.

And, as Kevin remarks it helps to get on with other things and come back afresh.

But, finally I think i'm there. Photos in due course.

Morning John, My Station building has been resting in the same place since about July, and yesterday I moved it, and it looked even more wrong this morning, I will see if my mates have any fresh ideas tomorrow night.

Andy if you're thinking anbout moving the station building up in the world and above the railway go searching Tyseley and Acocks Green on the 'net and Google Maps - - there might be some helpful ideas there.

Andy, one reason I got on with the Goods Shed at HRx was because I was "stuck" with the station building. I also as a distraction built a new house for the Stationmaster.

However, I had another look this morning and seem to be getting there. I'll take some photos later and then see how it looks.

Hello Peters old chap

Please don't move the station building, the pesky Counteer woman will find us. Oh no the vicar is crying again.

Dear Mr Peters and Colonel La De Da hyphen Poshname (Retired),

If that pesky Counteer woman complains about anything else on Kings Moreton or any other layout, I would suggest that you show her the rule book and place a special emphasis on Rule 1, as this makes provision for doing anything you like.

Yours sincerely

Lawyer Dwight Myway, Professional Lawyer specialising in railway related cases.

Cheers Guys, NOW back to Trains and the running there of.

Tonight's running session with John and Jeff was a great success, Peaks, Std 4, Brush Type 4 and Type 2, and even a scratch built Brake Tender.

Maybe even some Video tomorrow.

Hey Hey!! I'm back.

Layouts looking terrific Andy.

You really have done a cracking job with this one. Nice to see my pub still found a place on the layout. The sidings in the rural location makes me think this is Oxfordshire's answer to Peak Forest. Very nicely done indeed.

Great work mate.

Cheers

Marcus

The last picture shows how affective the layout now is with that lovely double sweeping curve heading off into the distance.

Thanks Kevin, it did run well last night, as it usually does, and I enjoyed watching someone else's Locos running around.

The Video should be up before Lunch, it's just up-loading on to You Tube.

Rather than a tripod this will allow you freedom of movement around TOPS.

A steadicam is just the ticket

There are loads on the market but I think this one will suffice..

Hi Andy

I liked the Peak on the coal train. During the school holidays if I went trainspotting at Bedford there would be what seemed a constant stream of  coal trains hauled by Peaks and a never ending northward return working of the empties. It will only be a few years and there will be adults who would never have seen a coal train let alone a pit. How times have changed.

You'll have to get a tripod Andy, feeling a bit seas sick now lol, shows your layout off well.

I've got a Tripod, but with 3  Fat Blokes, and my O Gauge Penybont Sidings in the middle, there wasn't much room to move, plus I was cameraman and Signal Man at the same time.

WILL TRY HARDER, hahhaha
