I'm not terribly fussy about correctness, but these are a step to far even for me. Meanwhile. the constant trickle of new additions to the Hereford Models web site is keeping me diverted in lockdown. If anybody went for one of the GNER HSTs they had a few weeks back and wants to extend the rake (and make it a bit more correct), they can now get a TGS to go with it from Hereford (3 left at the time of writing...) TomScrut
4 Car 395 for £120 delivered at Derails https://www.derails.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=Class+395&product_id=2100 It's also £120 at Bure Valley but not free postage. £30 a coach including drive at one end, and DCC sockets and lighting at both ends doesn't sound bad at all IMO. John Tomlinson
Lendons of Cardiff have some quite attractive prices on Hornby drive units - the newer type. Class 59 for under £7 and 2-bil for £9.98. John.

A link for others who might not have either: http://www.lendonsmodelshop.co.uk Looks like it could be a good source for spares. I wonder if the likes of the 2-BIL power bogie is self contained, i.e. picks up from both rails? If so perhaps it might have potential for, say, industrial shunters in 4mm or locos in O16.5?

I've had a few dealings with them, they're often less expensive than other spares dealers. Also very good service. John. 2 5

I needed a part for a loco which I struggled to find elsewhere (there were some variations to the Hornby tooling, so the reference number wasn't reliable and I didn't want to buy on-line and then find it was wrong). Took it to Lendons and they asked if I could leave it with them, as they needed to look through their 'collection of bits' to see if they had the right item. (Said that when a loco goes to the big train set in the sky, they try and salvage as much as they can for repairs, just in case). I came back about 10 days later to see if they had managed to find what I needed, and they handed me the loco all working. No charge either! Even though it's a bit of a journey for me, I found them to be very approachable and I've since gone out of my way to buy from them . Wish all shops were that friendly, some I've walked into and I feel like that stranger who walks into a saloon in a western movie. Lendon happy customer. 4

At a show last year at the derby roundhouse I purchased a Class 20 with sound spilt from Permenant Way set. Advertised as brand new, I got it home to find 2 front buffers had been glued on. I only wanted it for the chassis and the price wasn't bad, but I thougt it was bad form to sell something as new that clearly want. Furthur evidenced by the fact its DCC address was 88. I didn't bother complaining but I wont use them again.

You should have contacted them and given them a chance, rather than belittle them on here. Edited June 13, 2020 by Half-full
