Nova Scotian
E-mail from Hattons re. warehouse clearance https://manage.kmail-lists.com/subscriptions/web-view?a=JGQeXh&c=MnyT4p&k=9774ff3a36cc1e7bb7ed12b94e8926fe&m=W8pjs2&r=ADdnE8Z The best prices (for condition) appear to be Heljan diesel, dmu, electric (not steam). Some of the prices are pretty eyewatering for poor runners, non-runners etc, but I guess that's the second hand market situation at the moment. Might still be the ability for someone to bag a noisy runner of a special edition they've been waiting on and fix it up. Some older Bachmann steam locos at good prices without anything stated as being wrong with them....

TomScrut
Another Kernow one, the Hornby Ceneratry Sir Nigel Gresley Train set for £189.99 https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/66846/R1252M-WSL-Hornby-LNER-Sir-Nigel-Gresley-Train-Set-Centenary This as far as I am aware has a super detail version of the A4 in it, and 2 Gresley coaches (and the oval of track and controller) so I think it sounds good value. LittleRedTrain
Hattons have a single, sound-fitted, Bachmann Provinicial 150 (32-929SF) at £305.96, which appears to be a significant saving on RRP. https://www.hattons.co.uk/431956/bachmann_branchline_32_929sf_class_150_1_2_car_dmu_150115_in_br_provincial_blue_passenger_fitted_digital_so/stockdetail.aspx They did have a non-sound one at £220ish.. but that's now in my trunk! They have a few other Bachmann bits just arrived as well... presumably another resale from another retailer.

It may be worth specifying up front alternatives if you want a low-stock item (e.g. you want a 5 plank PO mineral wagon but don't mind too much which one). DK123GWR
I will accept any criticism that this isn't strictly modelling related, but some of you may be interested to know that the base game of Train Sim World 2 by Dovetail Games is free on the Epic Games Store this week. This includes the Bakerloo Line, an ICE line from Koln to Aachen, and Sand Patch Grade, a US freight route. Be aware that, outside of sales, you may not consider the add-ons to be bargains unless you are a fanatic. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/train-sim-world-2 Please also note that if you are at all familiar with the layout of stations on the Bakerloo Line, the way that they have been simplified will drive you crazy. I know from experience, and I only commuted on it for a week. Edited July 29, 2021 by DK123GWR 3 3
