Please don't go dragging Mark, Pete and the rest of us into further disrepute... I suppose that after all this time on his own during lockdown, a few foibles are to be expected though
RMweb Gold Popular Post Accurascale Fran Posted June 22, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted June 22, 2020 Dyson Haul! A First Look at Our Class 92! Check out the first sample of our hotly anticipated Class 92 electric locomotives! Although a rough first testbed for our model, it is already dripping with detail. Just look at that roof! Those grills! Those bogies! We have some small changes to make, and some details around the bogie area are still to be added, but it's certainly going in the right direction. This testbed loco is now with our friends ESU who are packing their tech into our operating pantographs. We will have a full video update showing them off in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, read more about the 92 here: https://accurascale.co.uk/blogs/news/dyson-haul-our-class-92-breaks-cover 30 1
Craig85
Looks absolutely amazing the level of detail on the roof is spectacular. Really looking forward to receiving the few I have on order when they arrive. Keep up the good work chaps. Craig 1

Seriously..WOW!!! I'm so glad you'll announced this model. We would never have see the "other" one appear. 1 3
VXDH92
Very impressive, nice job! One tiny detail I've noticed that could perhaps be improved (not that it matters much) - watching the video, the pans in the down position sit too low at the pivot end of the arms (I think). I imagine the down position will be changeable by altering the CV on the DCC chip anyway, so probably not worth worrying about. Great job guys! Really looking forward to seeing the features in action.

This sample has the pans 'locked down' in a lower than normal position. We hope to share more content and video of the pans working shortly, and they will have their 'default' down position set! 4 1

RMweb Gold Markwj Posted June 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 23, 2020 Well done this looks brilliant finger wavering over the order a second one button but then you are producing some class 37’s I want too at the same time! so inconsiderate of you may just wait for batch 2 instead. atom3624
This 92 certainly started all of the tongues wagging, literally one hour after I placed a deposit on 'another company's Class 92' ... refund received so no problems there. The near-finished A/S article is looking superb. Excellent progress. Al.

Pillar
Did the 92s ever make it to the North East during the 1990s / early 2000s? I need an excuse to run one of these!
