Both video gamers and porn fans tend to be the types that smell like cheese, or salt and vinegar crisps.

There's usually a few soap dodgers at model railway exhibitions too... ;)

Assuming the pre-Covid soap dodgers avoided Covid hand sanitisation as well, they may be extinct??

Unlikely. I don't think that they get out very much, which is part of the problem.

From his description;

NB:  I have checked the locomotive's running on the track this morning (12/02/2021) and confirm that it is an excellent runner.  The note regarding it needing some attention is to cover minor detail defects should any exist.

Seems an interesting wagon?

Mike.

That’s not a Kitmaster version. It’s a later Airfix issue...

The rear coupling is the Airfix version of the Horn Hook coupler.

Kitmaster couplings were very different.

Then there’s this Airfix one?

At foot of description is "NB:  I have checked the locomotive's running on the track this morning (12/02/2021) and confirm that it is an excellent runner.  The note regarding it needing some attention is to cover minor detail defects should any exist."

So might that be the secret to a better price for kit built wagons - describe as a loco?    Recently I had two Dapol Hyfits listed, one boxed mint and one with no box and a defective buffer.  There was no interest at all so when relisting I beefed up to a job lot  by adding two Coopercraft and one Slaters kit built wagons and a Triang Brake Van for good measure.   Got a sale this time from a 99p start  but only £4.85 plus £3.20 postage for the six wagons lot.

I have at least 2 in my kit mine - from the same sources! Having said that, I guess the kit mine should be viewed in a new light?

I wonder if prices will return to the pre-Covid norms, or is this to be the expensive 'new normal'??

And the Colin Ashby kit is just as popular..............
