How realistic are your models? Photo challenge.

Thanks, it was a factory weathered model which I attacked with blue Tcut and cottonbuds, quick squirt of satin varnish and when dry lightly dusted with black and brown pigments. Thats how all my stock is done, some more weathered than others but I feel it  gives a sort of uniformity so nothing stands out to much.

After working a pick-up goods up the Rossendale Valley, WD no. 90555 sits at the buffer stops, before shunting it's train into the yard.

 

 

This just oozes atmosphere, reminiscent of the end of steam in the North West in 1968 etc. Really excellent!

The north end of Aylesbury station the building on the end of the platform is the ex Aylesbury & Buckingham signal box, the front windows are not fitted correctly yet and the roof needs to be stated. The model itself was laser cut in 2mm MDF and has the correct Flemish garden wall bond brickwork.
