Wonder when that advert is from.

As soon as my wife’s work restarts and I can get my hands on some modelling funds again I will get one ordered!

I went to skool with a girl called Susan Beer. She married later than some, and her married name is Stent. She said it was a pity he had the leading S, otherwise she could have become Susan Beer-Tent!

I worked with a chap called David Halfpenny. He married a girl called Penelope.

How interesting that the lettering style is quite different on each.

Here's the model.

The lettering seems to be similar on each wagon, but the spacing is different because the wagons are of different lengths,

presumably 9’ and 10’ wheelbases. No.2 is shorter than No.1 if business was booming you would have thought Mr Beer would have invested in a larger No.2 !

...unless he bought no 2 first to make people think his business was big enough to need two wagons.

The lettering is arranged differently on the planks too.

There is a jockey turned trainer called Joe Tickle. According to John Francome, Joe met a nice lady - but they didn't pursue it because their names were incompatible. She was called Tess.....

Cor Blimey mate, you'll never get the 25Kv under that bridge, it will need rebuilding and the track lowering.

I'll worry about that in about 70 years time.:D

As a way of comparison, here is the curve as it was four years ago when @AY Mod came with his hydraulics for a session. More trees have grown since then.;)

Talking of inspiration and especially for  @2ManySpams is this very informative video that was filmed yesterday on the SDR.

What a truly awful bit of filming. Can anyone hear what the chap is saying about the 1366?
