RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted May 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 2, 2020 The lettering seems to be similar on each wagon, but the spacing is different because the wagons are of different lengths, presumably 9’ and 10’ wheelbases. No.2 is shorter than No.1 : if business was booming you would have thought Mr Beer would have invested in a larger No.2 ! 1

The lettering is arranged differently on the planks too. 2 1

RMweb Gold Popular Post gwrrob Posted May 3, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 3, 2020 Castle class 5078 Beaufort didn't offend anyone so here's a few more. The completed water crane doesn't look too bad to a blind man on a galloping horse.

RMweb Gold Popular Post gwrrob Posted May 4, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 4, 2020 Currently on the workbench and inspired by a blog by @46444 is this unpainted Dapol fruit D [ AO13].I've fitted new roof vents [Comet] , new buffers [ BO23] and vac pipes [ VP02] from Dave Franks. I'm planning on adding screw links after painting although my might need to tweak the pipes so they don't interfere. A cheap worthwhile upgrade that will mean that I'll probably end up doing them all. 21
