Andrew P
I've had an excellent day at the RMweb Member's Didcot Tour today. Lots of information and a lot more research to carry out. The one thing that did make me think was Eisenhower's Collet Special Saloon which was a restaurant car. A bit of early research shows that his train was made up of 11 wagons and coaches. When I find out more I'll post some information. Hi Duncan, Glad you had a good day down there, George T of this Parish popped in on his way home from Portsmouth last week and got some excellent pics and inspiration. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/55033-georgets-7mm-workbench/page-84 You do seem to like your research mate, ahhah Enjoy. RMweb Gold ChrisN Posted August 25, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 25, 2017 Duncan, I have just seen that MMS Models is closing at the end of September. If you had eyes on anything from there for your layout you will need to order it soon.

I'd better get my skates on.

emt_911
Thanks Tony. I hope that you enjoyed the show and that the return journey wasn't too bad. I still have comparison photos to do for Andy which is on my list for tomorrow. The journey back was 7 hours but it could have been a lot worse. emt_911
I've eventually found the time (and space on the workbench) to take some photos of the Q1 that Andy P weathered for me. I have included ones with a 'clean' Q1 for comparison. Edited December 14, 2017 by emt_911
