royaloak
Have seen the 4 car out impressive sight. Seems strange only seeing short form. Good for the difference it’s gonna make to local services I guess. Is gti 2 on the horizon yet? I caught it for the first time yesterday and nearly broke my hand trying to get the window down so I could open the door to get off. In all seriousness, it did feel strange being on a HST and using a button to open the door. GTI2 is supposed to be in build but I dont know when it will be with us. RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted May 8, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) Awesome news for the SO class 57 turn then........how many Crewe - Par day returns this year then None. But a number of boxes might get used up And remember it's starting from St. Erth again so your day return needs to take that into account. Iron Horse
I see it's gone back to no lay over at Plymouth either, like the first year. Regardless it's an expensive day from Crewe so might have to tailor it somewhat..........

One away for refurb and one having a small problem so stopped, the Down tonight will include the good BSO which will be used on tomorrows veg express. royaloak
I wonder just how long it is since a BG worked in a passenger service. About 2 weeks. Before that, a long time. Its actually a HST barrier coach (6348 was formerly 81233 then 92963) but has had its normal ETH system reinstated so it can work with loco hauled coaches as well. royaloak
Is this the same BG that was in Laira along with another for donkey's years? Yes it is, Laira kicked it back into life for the HST refurbishment moves and then reinstated the normal ETH supply so it could be used as a brake van for the sleeper when required.
