Yours and one other 009 layout was running all the others there was finger prodding and one DCC with sound had 20 stationary diesels ticking over

just shut down much to the delight of everyone in the back hall another where nothing had moved all morning and one with a 150mph bubble car that

was hilarious seeing that tear up and down an eight foot branch line.

Apart from that full marks to the members of the club for not canceling the show in that heat.

Obviously the first thing I did was to remove evidence of the pretentious chimney top.....

Not sure how or why she got there, but the ex LBSC H2 Atlantic (by Bachmann) looks very pretty at Canute Road Quay. My review can be read in the latest (October) issue of BRM or my blog here https://grahammuz.com/2018/09/07/the-Bachmann-ex-lbscr-h2-class-brighton-atlantic-4-4-2-grace-and-presence-in-one-locomotive/

Do you think one of these Tim Horn jobbies would suit an O gauge photo/scenic plank or would a deeper 2' version be more suitable.

HI Rob

The excellent Tim Horn baseboard kits would certainly be suitable for a small O Gauge project, as for the depth that would depend on how much space you have and what you want to include on the scene :)

Hi John

Will be good to see you, please say hello.

I wasn't intending on allowing the H2 to make an appearance on CRQ during the weekend, but as the SR green version does not appear to have hit the retailers yet I will bring her with me so you can take a look.

Most kind but only tongue-in-cheek; you'll have enough to be concentrating on!

The next couple of exhibition appearance of Canute Road Quay are drawing near, as always I always look forward to exhibiting my little train sets and enjoy catching up with friends and making news ones alike.

There will be a new feature on Canute Road Quay for these shows as I have commissioned a sound file of suitable background ambient sounds. As long as I set the volume carefully I believe it will add to, not distract from, the overall effect, time will tell…

This weekend of the 26th / 27th January 2019 Canute Road Quay will be travelling to its spiritual home and inspiration at the Southampton MRS, exhibition being held at the Barton Peveril Collge, Chestnut Avenue, Eastliegh, SO50 5BX

A bit closer to my home, well literally very close to home (I could almost throw a lump of coal from my own little cottage in the Chiltern Hills to the show venue) is the RisEx exhibition on Saturday 23rd Feb 2019. This pleasant little show is organised by the Princes Risborough and District MRC,at the Community Centre, Wades Park, Stratton Road, Princes Risborough, Bucks, HP27 9AX

More information on the above can be found on my blog here https://grahammuz.com/2019/01/19/the-quay-facts-about-being-on-the-road-with-canute-road-quay/

The car is loaded with Canute Road Quay ready for its appearance at the Southampton MRS, exhibition being held at the Barton Peveril Collge, Chestnut Avenue, Eastliegh, SO50 5BX this weekend. Will be heading off soon to pick up St Simon of this parish whom will be ably assisting me once again over the weekend.

Very much looking forward to it.

Hi Graham

Thanks for chatting yesterday, really enjoyed meeting you and seeing Canute Road Quay in the flesh, I've attached a couple of photos.

Whilst I was there you were talking about the uncoupler units you use but I cannot remember who the manufacturer is?
