This is like one of those Mensa-type tests :

attachicon.gifgents.png

Roger is standing to Clarence's right.

Albert is wearing a hat.

Cecil has not got a wide chassis.

Which one comes from Horrocksford ?

Cecil, as he is holding his Horrocksford shovel in his left hand.

The absence of any spats in the photo has been noted and regretted,Andy.

You say that but things look a bit frosty between Albert and Cecil....

Saw this unruly crowd waiting outside Simiffs in the 'Muff earlier today.

You say that but things look a bit frosty between Albert and Cecil....

I'm pretty sure I saw those gentlemen beginning to form an orderly queue outside of the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield earlier this afternoon. The rumour was, that they had heard a rumour that young Bill (James) Hudson of the Matlock Railway Book Empori-orium may, or may not have acquired a clandestine early supply of MRJ 254 which he may or may not have within the walls of the school which also happens to be holding a model railway exhibition this weekend.

What I want to know is what a young John Steed (Grey Bladen Jacket with blue flannel troos) is doing queuing up to buy an MRJ when there are far more important intelligence matters involving national security to be dealt with elsewhere. I find it hard to believe they have only one pipe between them to keep the overnight chill off but at least their tweeds will go some way to to towards keeping the cold at bay. Only fourteen hours to go before the members sale stand opens chaps.

P

P.s. Can we speculate as to what is so precious in Cecil's jacket pocket that he won't remove his hand from therein?

His carefully hoarded pocket money saved up to purchase kits at S4N?

Cheers,

David

One hates to suggest that quality is going downhill, however a glance at the cover picture shows a very implausible combination...

One must say that the chaps show a modicum of dress sense as none of them have affected Plus-Fours!

Of course, Cecil is probably hiding his pipe in his pocket because he has spotted the Headmaster approaching from the left (note the sharp attentive gaze).  Someone is going to have an unpleasant interview in the headmasters study on Monday morning after Assembly....

Hmmm, Sheringham, I suspect the hand of Pete75C in this?

18.83 minutes?

Mike.

Clearly you know little about finescale cooking. It's 16.5 mins for flaccid, 18.83 for lightly browned, 32 min for black and 33 min for carbon crust.

Chipolatas should be cooked for 9 min, 9.42 min or 12 min for similar results.

For more information see (available from Tesco);

This obviously has nothing to do with MRJ, very little to do with model railways and for some people isn't even humorous, but what the heck.

All that proves is the RMweb is better at generating pointless self-obsessed unfunny tosh than MRJ is.

Hang on.......should that not read..

" pointless self obsessed unfunny tosh THAN MRJ is"

I would never describe MRJ as " pointless self obsessed unfunny tosh "

This is the place for that sort of stuff......er....tosh.
