RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 2, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) I have to say that any real overseas members and guests, perhaps not au fait with UK diesel types, must now be thoroughly confused! Seems straight forward to me. Are there 'un-real' overseas members and guests out there?

RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted March 3, 2012 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 3, 2012 Just got back from a day with DitD. Great day spent tarting around with scenics and paint with good friends. At the end of the day we were all very pleased with the results and the layout looks fantastic for tomorrows photo shoot. Sadly i couldn't stay for the photo session and missed Jayne and Anne cooking up a great smelling Indian. Will be posting some photos after I've had m' tea. RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 4, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 4, 2012 It's to do with the sound the horn makes - two tone - spuuuh hoooon! = spoon As distinct from the horns on Southern EMUs in the later slamdoor era - which my neighbours in the Motive Power Inspectorate, on hearing a train sounding the horn while passing the Divisional Office, were convinced it sounded very like R Soles.
