RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 11, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 11, 2020 The odd shaped building with the leaning tower looks a better fit than the previous version. No idea what it is, possibly the back of a church or the local counting house.

RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 12, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 12, 2020 (edited) The counting house--church--completely-oversize-town-hall now looks better with some stonework and window frames. It obviously still needs a roof and probably some sound vents for any bells that might be inside the tower. RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 13, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 13, 2020 The roof sub structure is now on, plus a little bit of whimsy for the top of the tower.
RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 13, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 13, 2020 Starting to look the part now. Gutters, down pipes and soil pipes next, then I can add the horizontal stone detailing around the building. 7

I do like making buildings, there is a fascinating history in them if you look carefully. For example, I've used the old Coinage Hall in Truro as inspiration, which has several styles of stonework and resized windows, the reasons for which I would love to find out. 4 Duke St https://maps.app.goo.gl/hZ9Eg3Xrk477DPBG9

RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted April 17, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) Following a generous offer from @chris p bacon of this parish, of an un-built kit of a traction shed, we now have the start of The Stores. I can see some light filling will be needed on the corners, prior to priming and roofing. Edited April 17, 2020 by Stubby47

Al. When was it a Lloyds? I thought hey had always been across the road at the end of Lemon Street. My own 'coinage hall/town hall/whatever' is almost done, just some final touch ups of paint and a flagpole needed. 6
