The Circle and the Stores (T-CATS)

The  odd shaped building with the leaning tower looks a better fit than the previous version. No idea what it is, possibly the back of a church or the local counting house.

The counting house--church--completely-oversize-town-hall now looks better with some stonework and window frames.

It obviously still needs a roof and probably some sound vents for any bells that might be inside the tower.

I think you'll find that all the gargoyles here in Cornwall are 'Self isolating' so no reference available..

Very nice work, I especially like the buildings.

Jerry.

Thanks Jerry.

I do like making buildings, there is a fascinating history in them if you look carefully.

For example, I've used the old Coinage Hall in Truro as inspiration, which has several styles of stonework and resized windows, the reasons for which I would love to find out.

That's to make room for the Pizza Express menu....

Following a generous offer from @chris p bacon of this parish, of an un-built kit of a traction shed, we now have the start of The Stores.

I can see some light filling will be needed on the corners, prior to priming and roofing.

I bet there used to be a post box safety deposit inset into the wall there, it used to be a Lloyds Bank.

When was it a Lloyds? I thought hey had always been across the road at the end of Lemon Street.

My own 'coinage hall/town hall/whatever' is almost done, just some final touch ups of paint and a flagpole needed.
